Reduced motor hub size
Thanks to its streamlined, compact motor design, the NF-A4x10's motor hub is smaller than with conventional 4cm fans. This allows for more blade surface area and thus contributes to the NF-A4x10's superior airflow and pressure performance.

Bought 3 of these to put in a bracket from etsy, as a case mod for the nzxt h1. They are all connected via 3 way splitter and the fans being pwm, i was able to set them to the same fan curve as gpu fans. 1 of the few 3080's that fit in the gen 1 nzxt h1 is the evga 3080 xc3 without any modifications. Put these fans as exhaust to pull the warm air out that the gpu produced while gaming. Temps under load dropped from 75c to 70c. Even when on 80% power, they are still quieter than the gpu fans at 50%. Wish they had a black fan option instead of just brown, but once the back perforated cover is on, you can barely see them. Nice upgrade without breaking the bank, and not having to change to a different pc case.

There are MANY uses to the A4x10. In my case, no pun intended, I have it help exhaust any additional GPU heat away from the CPU's AIO radiator. Is it a massive impact competing against 120x30 and 120x25 fans? Nope. Does it let some of that exhaust go out somewhere else? Yeah, kinda.
Either way, it runs at 5000rpm and sends a bit air around the place. I may get a couple more to direct air against the RAM or M.2 sticks.
If you have a bit more space, the 20mm version offers a bit more oomph

I already had a heatsink for my Samsung EVO 970 Plus NVMe SSD, but I wasn't happy with the temperatures so I bought this Noctua 40mm fan. Here are some numbers:
Heatsink only:
- Cold idle: 43deg C
- Streaming 720p video from Youtube in Firefox: 50deg C
- CrystalDiskMark 8 64GB speed test: 60deg C
Heatsink and Noctua 40mm fan:
- Cold idle: 41deg C
- Streaming 720p video from Youtube in Firefox: 42-43deg C
- CrystalDiskMark 8 64GB speed test: 52deg C
Note that I actually had to go into the bios and REDUCE the fan speed because at idle it was keeping the NVMe drive below 40deg C. I have read a couple of sources that going below 40deg C on NVMe drives will actually reduce the lifespan of the drive. So if you wanted to, you could easily go below 40deg C with this Noctua fan. Mine was only spinning at 2,000 RPM and it was keeping the NVMe drive temps below 40deg C. Also, the fan is silent at the speeds I have ran it.

I've built plenty of PCs, and used many different kinds of case fans, but this particular build is a fanless PC that I upgraded to use a second SSD hard drive. I noticed that the temperature was increasing a bit to over 50C - still in the SSD safe zone, but higher than I wanted so decided to add a case fan, accepting that it would probably be quite noisy.
Not so!
This fan comes with all the connectors you could need. I used the Low-Noise Adapter with the extension, and the anti-vibration mounts, and the result is almost silent operation. The fan speed varies properly according to the SYS_FAN output on the motherboard, and the temperature of the SSD drive no longer exceeds 36C.
I have to say a word about presentation, as the packaging is incredible (considering it's a case fan)! The box has to be the most luxurious packaging for a case fan that I've ever seen. The box has flaps on the front and back so you can see the fan and the anti-vibration mounts, and with information about the fan. Opening the box reveals well presented accessories and the fan itself. I feel that the effort spent on packaging (while probably reflected in the price of the fan) reflects really well on the manufacturer.
Overall, while this is not the cheapest case fan around, for me it represents the best value, and the near silent operation was a real surprise. I highly recommend this fan.
