I would recommended for those that just need a cheap cellphone to talk. We use it with T-mobile, just put the sims card and start talking.
It has a nice set of features but it also has 1 feature that I really hate. The number keys are all soft and rubbery. Imagine your TV or DVD remote. It probably has rubber keys too. But the ones in your TV/ DVD remote have a springiness to them. The rubber keys on this cellphone don't have any springiness to them at all. They feel like a flat tire.
Perhaps it's superficial to complain about the keys, but it makes the phone feel very cheap and flimsy.
This phone has a speakerphone, which really isn't that good unless you are in a completely quiet room. Which puzzles me because the ring tones, at maximum level are quite loud. You get to make your own ringtones using the built in composer, and i assume you can also use mp3 tones somehow. The keyboard is covered by a flexible rubber membrane, so if you are careless with your phone you can see this one is durable.
The only faults I have with the phone is the tiny screen, and that the selection key isn't on the d-pad. This phone does not have wireless internet, but it does have text messages.

the contact menu could store several numbers for a
single contact, for example, home, cell, etc. The 1208 cannot

SIM card (second time that I opened it) the cover cracked.
It's sad that Nokia produced, in my opinion, a lesser phone,
and I suspect that T-Mobile requested a phone that was
