I expected more from JBL. For the $66 price tag I paid on Amazon verses the $300 msrp price who can complain. It is loud and the bass carries. I needed something intimate for an apartment that wouldn't encourage my neighbors to out perform me in how loud we can go. Plus I now have wireless charging too. The footprint is small in comparison to the harmonic sounds it produces. It is three years old I'm pretty sure something out there today at $300 original price could compete.

Sounds great. Took a minute to find where my phone likes to be for the NFL pairing and chatting to work. I'm using a S6 with Otter Box Defender on it and they both work. Like it so far. Only got 4 stars because the power supply looks kind of cheap. (Easily replace online though) Just thought with a product that looks this nice they wouldn't have skimped on that though. But it works.

The speaker is good quality and the wireless charging is awesome, however the bass is just too high. If you are looking for something you can bring around to parties and want for loud listening it would be pretty spot on I think. If you are looking for a solution for a small apartment/condo (hence wanting to combine the charging and speaker units together!) though I would keep looking.

My mom/step dad chose Windows Phones and I bought this for them at Verizon. They absolutely love this thing. They have this in their kitchen/breakfast area and the charging pad keeps them powered up. My step dad uses it on his back porch when he's working out as it is lightweight and easy to move from room-to-room. Neither one of them have any difficulty using the Bluetooth connectivity and they're kind of cute to watch at the dinner table as they put on background music from their phone playlists. It has an impressive sound quality and was highly-rated a few years ago when I bought it for them. It is one of only a few gifts I've given them that is still used daily. That makes me happy and I don't regret this purchase decision in the least.

I liked it so much I decided to get one for myself and went with one of the "Used Like New" seller options shown here. I selected one from the seller called "KingHope" because it was one of the options available at that time with Amazon order fulfillment. Unfortunately it didn't work and had to go back. Thankfully, when you buy with Amazon returns are easy. Once the return is finalized I am going to try again.

UPDATE - I reordered on Amazon and the second unit I received worked flawlessly. I'm very happy with the performance of this unit and the convenience of the integrated charging pad. Great value!

WOW! What a great speaker! JBL, hands down.. BEST SOUND QUALITY, of all major manufacturers in the business - I have owned way too many! Especially for the price! I have 3 JBLs currently and they are all better than perfect! They are durable and made to last, the sound quality and clarity are perfect, particularly at high volumes - they have excellent range (wireless), the designs are clean & trendy without being over the top! The model 'here' I bought for my 16 yr old daughter and even she admits the higher end of the volume can be too loud at some points for even her, and our neighbors will tell you- that's a difficult task to achieve! In my opinion anyone looking at another brand of speaker of the same size and class would be foolish not to buy this one. Truly one of the best purchases I have made in awhile! ;)

A great sounding speaker that works simply with my iPhone

I don't have a phone that can use the wireless charging feature but this speaker sounds amazingly great!

I am using my iPhone it it connects simply via bluetooth and is plenty loud with great sound quality for outdoor or indoor use -- for parties or just to relax to in a small or large room.

It's physically not as small or light as the Nokia 360 cube (which I own too) but it's much louder -- the volume on the 360 is very low and you need the phone volume on max to hear it reasonably -- the cube is not really one for parties or larger group settings, but this one won't disappoint you, it has no volume issues.

This unit does weight more than some other speakers but it sounds awesome and has great base :) I liked it so much, I bought a second one for my daughter.

Nonfunctional after 2 weeks of use

I really loved this speaker for the first two weeks I had it. My wife and I both used it with our Nokia Lumia 920s and it was so good that we were considering purchasing a second one for another room.

But tonight, without any incident to prompt it, the unit stopped turning on. No lights, no sound, no Bluetooth pairing. Unfortunately, since the time I ordered it two weeks ago, the price on Amazon has gone up $100 so I can't get a return. This is a real disappointment for an otherwise great device. Can't give better than one star, though, if it only lasts 2 weeks.
