The hardware is superb, but the item shipped has the Chinese version with the hijacked Lollipop Android flavor rather than the full and true Taiwanese Lollipop version.
The difference is the absence of Google Play.
The difference is MAJOR. I can use the Browser and can even download some few apps from apkMirror, but the ability to use familiar apps, run printing by wireless and much else is sacrificed unless the device can be rooted and the Google Play store can be loaded on board. The Baidu sponsored store is really limited on this purchase and even the navigating might be treacherous if the user is not so advanced as to make the language English and be able to interface things, at least assuming a non-Chinese user.
A big problem here is how Foxconn/Nokia chooses to market these devices and the rather poor process of clarifying the true details in the Amazon web site.
It is perhaps borderline fraudulent to sell this device as is with no clear notation that this is not a so-called 'International version'.
