4.0 out of 5 stars Great Budget Phone
By Nicholas Hilden on July 20, 2020
This is a great budget phone that works well as long as your know what you are buying. Before this phone I was using a Moto G7. Overall setup was rather painless and the phone looks good and feels snappy. This is definitely the budget phone to get, at least until the 6.3 comes out. I've had no issues with wifi that have been noted in other reviews.

The Good
Good battery life
smooth snappy experience
Android One Updates
great signal strength
headphone Jack

The Bad
slow charging
low brightness (hard to see in direct sun)
Media Speaker

The Ok
Screen: very usable but other phones at this price have FHD+
Camera
Stock Android: miss my Moto gestures, but zero bloat

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome phone for the price
By Jason haak on August 7, 2020
To all the people that gave this phone a negative review, I think you just got a bad phone and need to swap it out. I have had this phone for 5 days now. I charged it up to 100% (which only took 45 minutes from 19%) and I am still using that same charge now. At 19% I can still go another 14 hours before it will die. I've made phone calls, played games, Bluetooth has been on almost all of this time, listened to music, and watched a few videos. Once I put my t-Mobile SIM in it took about 30 seconds to configure everything and then updated all of my apps as well as a system update. Ten minutes later I rebooted one time and it was running like a champ! The only complaint I have about this phone is the speaker is loud and clear, but a little tinny. The headsets they give you in the box are meh, but I have good quality headphone already. They also include a clear case cover which does the trick. I might get a nicer case for this later but the one they give does just fine. I wish you could customize the LED light in the power button so instead of just a steady blink there were different patterns or even 2-3 color options, but I am nit picking at that point. For $200 this phone doesn't sacrifice much, the picture quality is pretty good, not on the level of a flagship, but still good quality. The screen is clear and crisp, but the auto adjusting feature sometimes darkens the screen when it doesn't need to. I think a simple software fix can take care of that. Overall I don't think you will be disappointed in this phone.
