This is a review for Holiday Wonderland 100-Count Clear Christmas Light Set.
This year, we went with a BIG tree. And we decorated our house with are lights from last year. So, we needed some more lights, and a lot of them! I purchased a couple of these strings for our tree along with another 60 count string. Fortunately, the length was perfect with the three strings. The quality of the strings is also pretty good. The wire is pretty heavy, and all the lights worked.
There is one issue with these lights though. They are not white. They are yellow. All of our previous lights have a white color to them; so, our lights around the house are white, while our tree is yellow. If your plan is to have a yellow light to go with a gold decoration on your tree, these will work out great! We have a silver decoration them though, and these lights just don't look right on it.
The listing on these lights is clear. This is correct; the bulbs are clear. The picture of the box makes it appear that they look white. They aren't. The description needs to include the actual color of the lights themselves.
I won't purchase these lights again, and I wouldn't have if I knew they were yellow. Hopefully I'll find a good use for them or perhaps we will switch next year to gold decorations...
