Palouse Brand is a 5th generation, family-owned and vertically integrated farm. We grow our own products in Washington State and provide information like field location, crop photos and harvest dates.

Beyond our passion for farming, we value helping people live healthier. We strive to support our customers’ pursuit of health by providing premium products, transparency, recipes, guides, and five star service.

Starts in the field

Chuck has worked at the farm as our mechanic since 1981. Born and raised in Pullman, he and his wife have also raised their two sons here and are now getting to enjoy time with their grandchildren. Over the many years, they have loved the family centered environment of the farm, becoming family themselves.

His deep love of farming brought him to work on our farm all those years ago and he has always looked forward to the harvest season, where he can see the year’s hard work come to fruition.

Ruby has been working on the team since the Spring of 2020. She brings an electric energy to work every day and loves to keep things exciting with her favorite songs to dance along with. Outside of work, Ruby enjoys getting to spend time with her family.

Her favorite aspect of her job is getting to teach new employees how to operate all our equipment, like our forklift. Since joining our team, she has become an essential part of our team and is excited to continue to build her future with us.

This is one of my staples at this point. They cook in around 25 minutes and can be eaten alone or as a soup with veggies. Meat too for those that eat meat. The lentils are very filling and non-gmo.

The split peas are also good but the lentils are my favorite. Really good with Joyva Tahini and nutritional yeast. Along with your spices of choice.

I'm no lentil aficionado but the lentils look and tasted like any other I've bought. When washing I've occasionally found oval grains which I assume to be grass seeds, I pick them out. Their presence probably means less herbicides were used. The burlap bag is cute but unfortunately smells awful, there is a chemical smell to it. The smell doesn't seem to have impregnated the lentils but I would feel more comfortable if it was packaged and sealed in plastic.
