It's been a week since I started using the sponges, and each day I smell them. They don't have the sour smell that the cheaper version of sponges bought in the store do after just 1 day! And a week it still doesn't smell bad at all. I've tried several different brands from the store, cheap and little more expensive, online, and proclaimed "odor resistant," and this is the only one that hasn't stank after the first couple of days, and doesn't leave an odor on my hands after using it. They are durable so far, no tearing, no wearing after a week of lots of use. It retains water AND soap well when washing, and we hand-wash a lot more than most who use dishwashers. And does a great job cleaning. The scouring side doesn't leave marks or scratch our dishes and is very gentle. LOVE this sponge. I thought it was a bit expensive (about $3.00 per sponge), but I do think it's worth it. I think I've finally found my odor resistant dish sponge after so many years of searching!

Best sponge I've tried.
I was hesitant to try this sponge since it was a bit pricey. I'm glad I did it's long lasting and doesn't smell after a few days.
