I own both a Model X P100D which comes with "factory" aluminum performance pedals, and a Model S 75D which does not. These installed in under 5 minutes in the 75D after leaving them out in the Florida sun for an hour (rubber-side facing up) to soften up the flaps. I chose this design over other brands like Topfit because the stock performance pedals use the same 7 (brake) +3 (accelerator) rubber strip layout vs. the 8+5 or 10+5 configuration. Also, these are definitely some kind of thin metal and not plastic as indicated in a few of the 1-2 star reviews.

From the passenger seat you'd be hard pressed to tell any difference--the look and feel is pretty much the same. We'll see how they hold up over time. So far, my opinion is that you can't beat these for the price.
