Product Description

Spring form Tips Always assemble your springform pan on a flat surface. This will prevent any bending or damage to the base and any ridge at the bottom of the rim that helps insure against leaks. Before clasping your springform rim, make sure the base is sitting properly in any ridge or edge at the bottom of the rim. Line the outside of the pan with aluminum foil to help keep batter from leaking out, especially when using a light batter or older springform pans. It also helps to line the outside when the springform pan is placed in a water bath in the oven. Expect all spring form pans to leak a bit, especially if you’re using a very light batter. And the more intricate the design of the spring form pan, the more likely it will leak. It’s normal, so take the above mentioned precautions and line the outside bottom of your pan. Line the base with parchment paper before you start baking, instead of having to serve your cake on the springform base. When baked, remove the springform sides and slide the parchment lined cake off the base and onto a serving plate. Or replace the metal base with a parchment-lined piece of cardboard of the same size, and you can give away the cake and not worry about losing your metal base. Is it done yet? If you give your cheesecake a little shake and ripples appear, the cheesecake is not done. What you’re looking for is the top of the cheesecake to slightly jiggle like jello. Do not store cakes with high-acid ingredients in any tinned, aluminum or stainless springform pans after baking. Store your spring form pans fully assembled, and neatly stowed to prevent denting.

Leaking, but User Error. 2nd Time It Worked
I really want to like this items since it is a cool concept. 2 in 1! I don't know if I am locking this properly. I tried to make flan for Christmas and when I pour it in the pan, it started leaking. I tried it twice and I gave up. Now I am afraid to use it. Maybe it is not meant to use with liquid food.Update: The seller was great and contacted me after my review. She explained to me that it cannot take liquid items like flan. Since I don't bake often (or cook often) it was nice to know there was a difference in the type of "batter" can be used in different pans.I had corn bread mix and made it last week. It came out perfect, but I forgot to grease the pan. It was still good to eat!

I am grateful that this pan is not pressure cooker brand specific, as my pressure cooker is not an IP. I just used my pan to make an extremely moist chocolate bundt cake. I followed the directions for the cooking. I think I may have filled it a bit too much as it went into the middle, but that was okay as well because I had the foil at the bottom, so nothing went to waste. The pan does not take a full box of cake mix, but that just leaves some for the next time. My cake came out cooked and very moist and delicious. I had 2 springform pans that came with my unit originally, but I put one away for safe keeping and apparently I did a good job because I can not find it now. I have been looking for replacement 7" spring form pan for well over a year; and to find that I did not just get a springform pan, but a bundt pan as well was just thrilling. It did a really good job and instead of having to cook the cake in the oven for 40-45 minutes, I did it in the pressure cooker for only 25 minutes plus pressure up time. What I love is, put it in and forget it. Came out perfectly moist and cooked well. I didn't even have to test for doneness. Thank you. Now I can't wait to find out what the lasagna is going to be like. Since I am a vegetarian, I will be using the veggie ground beef in place of the regular one, and am looking forward to it. I think I will also try making a veggie lasagna as well. Am so looking forward to that as well as making cakes again and now lasagna using my pressure cooker. .

I purchased this to fit inside of my Instapot on the trivet to bake Banana bread. The nonstick surface works perfectly and you can ensure that nothing will stick as this pan has a springform design that comes apart in 3 pieces. The pattern on the top looks great on the baked bread, it looks like a mini bundt cake. I did drizzle melted chocolate on top for presentation. I handwash the pan to maintain the non stick surface and keep the enamel in good shape. The color is true to the represented picture in a rich orange color.

Very happy with this pan for my Instant Pot! My cakes are so moist! I love how they cook using this pan! And it seems it's a little pan when you look at it, but the entire box of cake fits into it (2 layers!). Don't let the size fool you. Yes it
Leaks a bit but any pan that isn't one piece
Is probably going to leak a bit. I use foil around the bottom to catch anything that may leak. Very versatile pan. I've also used It to cook a tortilla pie which turned out awesome! It's so nice to have a pan like this that I can put into my instant pot so my house doesn't heat up when baking cakes during the summer!

This is Ivy, John's wife. I ordered this pan and the first one arrived with a little dent but it didn't look like the box was damaged. Since the pan cost about $20 I didn't want a brand new pan with a dent so I asked for an exchange. The second one came with a bigger dent and it looked like the box had been crushed a bit. Here's the thing, I think the dents are being caused by the plastic cleaning tools that are included in the box. I think you need to rethink your packaging to protect your pans. all it would take is a piece of cardboard in the box between the tools and the pan.

I'm not sure if I will keep the second pan anyways or send it back for a refund. It depends if it affects how the pan fits together. Is anyone else having this issue?

I recently received this pan and I had some bananas that I had to do something with. For my first test, I made banana nut bread using the bundt option and 'baked' it in my 6 quart Instant Pot. This was a twofold test for me. The bread turned out moist and tender and WONDERFUL. I couldn't have been more pleased. Today I made a chocolate cake using the flat disc option. Again, I used my Instant Pot with outstanding results. I remembered to put foil loosely over the baking dish to prevent water from soaking my Treats. I can definitely recommend this product. If it works in a pressure cooker, it will definitely work in any oven.

After only one use, the orange paint is coming off in little chips. Since my return window closed 2 days ago, I guess I am stuck with this worthless piece of junk that will go straight into the garbage can. I cannot believe that I spent 19.98 on this, but it came highly recommended by a bloggers site, and I was willing to overpay for a quality pan. HAH!

Updated Nov 11, 2018
The seller contacted me, and offered to replace this pan. I appreciated that and asked for the blue one since she reported that there have been no issues with those. I received it promptly, and used it yesterday for the first time.

Even though there were no chipping issues, unfortunately I still cannot recommend this pan. I hand washed / air dried it and after one use saw the beginning signs of rust along the bottom of the pan and where the clasp closes. For something this cheaply made, I would have expected to pay about 6 bucks and certainly not the $19.98 I was charged.

I was torn between a 4 and a 5 star review for this product. I gave the full 5 stars because the product does exactly what it says it will do, and it's a nice feature to be able to have 2-pans-in-1 (springform and bundt). To me, the materials seem a bit flimsy, that is why I was going to give it 4 stars, but that is just my preference. It also seems like the pan isn't making a super tight seal, but all of the cheesecakes I've made using it have been fine. This fits very well into my 8 quart Instant Pot, with plenty of room on the sides. Word of caution - it is too small for a standard cheesecake recipe. Using standard recipe, you will have about 1 cup of excess batter that won't fit.
You will have to use an additional bowl for the rest of the batter.
