My one disappointment is that this is scheduled to be the last book in the series. But I am not worried. I am confident that a new series will be announced soon and there will be a non-obvious but amazing sequel to this outstanding series. Until then, get and READ Non-obvious Megatrends, and if you are so moved, get copies of Non-Obvious 2018 Trends and Non-Obvious 2019 trends and READ them, as well. You will not be disappointed.
The relatively simplistic strategies in the first two chapters (have a growth mindset, etc.) appear designed to include some analytical framework in a book otherwise dominated by simple, disjointed market-positioning ideas.
This is an insightful, well researched book into trends that we are part of. Funny how our awareness is under the surface and its books like this that brings about a lot of AHA moments.
These days, it takes just a bit of special knowledge to stay ahead of competition in the workplace and business.
This is a great read for executives, business owners or anyone interested in society and how it shapes our life.
Highly recommend it.
I highly recommend buying this book for anyone. It also would be great to use in a team setting to discuss the implications for the organization."
I feel fortunate that I crossed path with Rohit speaking at an event industry conference in 2019 which allowed me to join his movement.
Much different than most trend books Rohit trains you how to curate and identify trends. He also helps distinguish the difference between a trend and fad.
One interesting aspect of this book is Rohit also reviews his past trends. Most trend projectors rarely review there success. Rohit provides a transparent review of his past predictions. It’s clear no one can predict the future, but we can engage it.

This book analyzes, presents, predicts, suggests, and then provides useful ways in which you will be able to apply your knowledge in your life and business. Not every megatrend will be immediately relevant, but you will certainly cross paths with them in the next decade.
For those who want to use Mr. Bhargava's techniques in their own business and life, then the book opens with a very clear and concise guide to becoming a futurologist. With a little analysis, following his step by step instructions, you'll also be able to start finding non obvious megatrends to boost all aspects of your work and life.
This book does not give you any value, unless you are a 6 year old child at elementary school trying to write your first assay on marketing.
Please avoid this book and go to read Michael Porter books, much better.
This book is a collection of commonsense statements which do not tell anything special.
It does not guide the reader to develop any strategic thinking.
You will not gain any competitive value reading this book.
For me it is too late to return the book, the best place for this book is in the bin of recycled paper.
