I have not finished this book, but so far it is very organized and has given me so much information about where to go and find extra information on the subject. I feel that I will have enough info from this one book to get a great start on a nonprofit. The CD is a plus and loaded with related info.

But for me the process in which the book takes you through the steps of setting up your nonprofit is excellent. There may be other books or research that I would need to follow, but at least this book directs me.

Book provides a fundamental basis for anyone starting a non profit and it's up to you to research YOUR non profit and see what other items would be needed such as forms, paperwork etc that apply to your business. Otherwise a great reference book on the five w's.

I have had the book for about 15 hours and have spent about 12 hours reading and going through the information on the disk that came with the book. A few of the web sites mentioned are no longer active but that is normal nowadays. For the price that I paid I feel that the book is very instructional and worth the money. My wife and I have a Foundation in Mexico and I wish I would have read this book before we started. I would like a book with more indepth information but at the same time I do not think that it would sell so cheap.

I bought this book wanting to start a nonprofit it gave me ideas the bad thing is it doesn't or I didn't find where it says how much the legal fees to start one is. other then that it was a good book.

Clear language, good examples, follows a nice flow. Gives me what I was missing. It is helping me to write a more useful mission statement as well as some very important items to consider when forming my board. I believe I will have a much more successful NonProfit as a result of using the many tips and examples given by the authors. I would recommend this for all involved in nonprofit management (except for perhaps the most seasoned and successful who already run them).
