These candies look very similar to Malaco's Salty fish, but tastes different to my big disappointment. Not the greatest salty licorice I've had, but works fine when there's none other around to buy.
I don't even offer an American salty Liquorice as they spit it out and then I wasted a perfectly good piece of candy, that in the past was only available to me when my mom would send me a care packet.
You may find this a delicious candy and have trouble putting it down. That's my problem. On the other hand, you may not like it at all. Licorice sold in the U.S. tends to be much sweeter and less flavorful. If you're used to this type and then try these salty licorice fish, you may find it quite startling. My take is that it's startlingly good.
I think they are pretty good. I prefer a firmer salt licorice style than this because I don't like chewing them up, I like allowing them to dissolve in my mouth, and these dissolve too rapidly for my liking. But overall they are a fine example of this style of candy.
Tip, try a single small bag or sample before you order a whole case, just to make sure you like these. This is *NOT* American style licorice and it is nothing like it. Most Americans will spit this out and think you poisoned them :-)

Yum Yum Yum. One of my favorites even if I had to buy 50 plus dollars worth. Can't do that all the time, but it was good to have these this time.Published 16 months ago by char53
Not any flavor of raspberry at all. A huge disappointment and waste of money. They were soft, as advertised, but that was their only good quality. Will not buy again.Published 19 months ago by MystSinger

Was born in Sweden so I was raised with this type of candy. Bet ever but you need to have a taste for salty things.Published on April 21, 2014 by Jan L. Larsson
wonderful Taste I could not find in the US.
Taste I grew to enjoy in UK and Ireland.
If you like licorice try em.
If you enjoy salted licorice, you will love these. It is, of course, an acquired taste. But these are great. Nice soft texture and wonderful flavor.Published on October 2, 2013 by ShadowFyr
I normally like black licorice and salt makes stuff taste even better, right?! This is quite the worst tasting candy I have ever tried. Read morePublished on November 20, 2012 by Erin I. Stewart
