Use and Care for Natural Aluminum
• Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
• Dishwasher use is not advised as discoloration will occur due to the cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.
• Natural aluminum pans work well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and also traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. When roasting savory foods such as vegetables, butter or cooking oil work well.
• Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum pans, but will not affect baking performance
• Aluminum is reactive to acidic ingredients such as vinegar and tomato products. These foods may darken, pit or corrode the pan after prolonged use.

I handwash the sheets so have no discoloring problems. Use and care instructions are very clear and explicitly stated that dishwasher use is not advised. Don’t understand why people keep putting aluminum pan in dishwasher and complain about discoloration. Read the instructions.

Excellent heat conductivity, perfect for making. Each baking sheet has different use in my kitchen. Jelly roll sheet is usually for baking cookies or pizza. Quarter sheet is perfect for baking frozen croissant for the family. Half sheet is too big to fit into European standard size oven, so I mostly use it with a cooling grid to catch crumbs.By Amazon Customer on March 24, 2019

The packaging is a serious problem.
The pans were shipped stacked together with a circle of glue at one end of each pan, with a loose piece of cardboard encircling the stack. This allowed the pans to scratch against each other pretty severely in transit. Not sure why Nordicware thought this was a good choice.

I love these baking pans. It’s basically the only brand I use. Unfortunately, the way they’re packaged leaves much to be desired. In transit the pans rub one another, leaving them scratched. I’ve attached pictures. I’m not returning since they’ll be looking even worse after a couple uses and it’s not worth it. Putting something as a buffer between the pans as they’re packaged together to protect against scratching would be wise for the manufacturer.

Was so excited to get these new pans. Opened up the box and 2 of 3 were scratched (they are nestled together for shipping so the pan on top scratched the surface of the pan underneath) Gave them a quick rinse and now that they've dried, there is also a mark from where the glue was! Not sure about returns during this time because of Covid.
