The burrs are large enough to compromise the appearance of a Bundt cake made in this pan. I returned the first pan, and the replacement they sent had the same issue, but to a small extent. I wonder if the pans they are selling here all have minor defects? In the future I'd buy elsewhere.(Pictured is the replacement with smaller burrs).

The Copper Cast pan I received exceeded my expectations , the casting had no visible flaws nor was there any sharp edes on the outer rim. The outside copper coloured coating and the inside non stick coating was superb. I baked Tori Avey's lemon poppy seed cake in it and only reduced the baking time to 50 minutes from 55-60 minutes because of the slightly dark copper coating and living 6000 feet above sea level. The cake baked to perfection and slid out of the pan after letting it first it cool off for 15 minutes. Prior to baking I sprayed the pan first with a non stick baking spray and a light flour coating. This pan was worth every cent it cost me to import it all the way to South Africa.
