I liked these so much I ordered the small bowls also.
When mixing seasoning with ground pork and ground beef there is little sticking to the sides like my stainless steel bowls. Stainless bowls for sale (real cheap too).

75 years of American-made Kitchenware
Founded in 1946 by an enterprising young husband and wife team, Nordic Ware began as a fledgling company specializing in ethnic Scandinavian products, as well as everyday items like griddles and steak platters. To this day, our company remains family owned and operated across three generations.
The Nordic Ware brand has endured and our products can be found in homes around the world. We now manufacture over 400 products, ranging from cookware and bakeware to microwave-safe plastic products, grilling accessories and tools for food prep and serving. We’re known for producing no-nonsense, durable goods that will be passed down from one generation to the next.

I bought these bowls back in July. I thought they were great at first. I bake often and make pancakes about once a week. These seemed just right for what I needed. Also, they are dishwasher and microwaveable safe. The problems started recently. As I removed the small navy blue bowl from the dishwasher, I noticed some white "spots" which I thought were water spots from my dishwasher. Upon further examination I realized they were places where the blue color was chipping and peeling. Wow! Was I upset. I use this small bowl often to melt butter or warm milk for different recipes. Had we consumed those small particles of plastic or paint or whatever it was? I wrote an Amazon question and received answers from other consumers who said they had not experienced this problem. Obviously, I am not using that bowl, but what about the others? Will we have the same problem? I spent much time looking for mixing bowls. Do I have to do so once again? I tried to add photos but am not sure if they actually demonstrate the problem. Would love feedback from others. I now am using three, not four bowls. Navy bowl will be trashed.
