I use this product for baking, obviously. This bread pan is a joy to use, because it's just SO beautiful. And your loaf will be beautiful, too. Stunning, in fact. However, it's difficult to grease because of all the detail in the design. What I do is melt the butter or shortening, then brush it on the inside of the pan. You're not supposed to put it in the dishwasher, either, which dismayed me at first, but it's surprisingly easy to wash by hand. I would buy it again, and I will buy it for other bakers as a gift.

Probably the most money I've ever spent on bakeware but now I understand the price a bit better. This thing is heavy and feels like it's going to outlast me and maybe a few generations after me. No way that it will dent in case someone drops it or of same someone starts bashing it to get the cake out (*looks at boyfriend*). I'm not sure about its ability to break, but as it's not ceramic it should be fine?

Make sure to grease the mold/form well so the cake doesn't stick. And when baking in the oven, use a flat surface, not the grid. Because of the uneven pumpkin-shape, the mold might tilt due to the gaps in the grid.

I tried the recipe that came with it and BEWARE, it's way waaaaay too much batter for this mold specifically. I think it would do better with half the batter and filling, but to be tested/confirmed. It also tastes better once it's cooled down completely (especially the filling). The recipe in general tastes really good though.
