CHALLENGES. The pan is well-made and heavy; I increased the oven time by 6 minutes.
For this first use, I made my family's favorite in my Breville Smart Oven: Banana Chocolate Chip Bundt. They will be delighted! Looking forward to buying other stunning Nordic Ware bundt pans.

1. They are slightly smaller than the traditional bundt pan. They hold about 1-2 cups less than what most pound cake recipes yield. As a result, I end up making 4 additional muffin-size cakes or one extra bundlet each time I bake a pound cake. It is better to only fill these pans 2/3-3/4 full, otherwise you will need to slice off the risen mound of excess cake before flipping to prevent the cake's bottom edges from cracking. (See photo.)
2. In addition to the pan's smaller capacity, the only other flaw I found with this brand is that there are no handles on the side of the pan. Without any way to grip the pan, it is more difficult to flip it and securely lift it off the serving plate. That's a bit of a hassle, especially when you're dealing with a warm, slippery, conical-shaped baking dish, but I suppose that the beautiful design makes up for this issue.
I have used my golden Nordic bundt pans about six or seven times thus far and find that cakes slide out very easily when I use a pastry brush to apply softened butter into every nook and cranny of these intricately designed bundt pans. I follow up with a light dusting of flour and have never had a problem with the baked cake slipping out of the pan easily and in one piece after a brief cooling period.
This is a good purchase if you want a beautiful cake and don't mind having a little leftover batter and a slightly problematic lift-off.

Now I did use 7 cups of batter and I had to cook the cake a little longer because it is very dense in the middle... So in all I think I baked the cake maybe 1 hour and 25 to 1 hour and 30 minutes...
Cleaning... The cleaning was easy I let it soak with hot soapy water, and then I cleaned it with a dish towel and in the skinny creases I took a pointed knife with my thick dish towel at the end of it and went through the creases and had no issues!
Releasing... I use the Pam non-stick spray with flour incorporated into it the baking spray and I have never had an issue with anything sticking, and this as you see came out perfect!
My cake was moist and it was a HIT!!!

You also get the lovely feature crispy outside to the sponge which Nordic Ware mentioned as a specific feature of Nordic Ware in a demo video I once saw.
The pattern of this bundt tin means that it doesn't matter if you don't put enough batter in, by accident or design, to obtain the full pattern at the base (the open end) of the tin, like I did on my first go. The most striking part of the pattern is the top (the ridges) and you'll always get that.
The bundt tin has the capacity size integrally moulded (?hot-forged) into it, as a handy reference. The 10-cup capacity is a good size between Nordic Ware's 6 cup and 12-15 cup bundts.
It's well-made but treat it as fairly fragile to avoid denting it or damaging the finish. Handwash only to avoid damaging with non-stick with abrasive chemicals such as dishwasher powder. Because the cake unmoulds so cleanly, washing up is a cinch. Air-dries with no probs. The cardboard wrapper comes with care instructions and a recipe.
I wish the tin had handles to make it easier to manoeuvre when hot. The tin is large, and with contents it's also rather heavy. Handles (the sort you put your fingers through) would mean I could also display this decorative tin on my kitchen wall, seems a shame to put it in a cupboard.
This worked: PME Release A Cake (Amazon ref. ASIN B00XNASF2E) sprayed and applied very liberally with a pastry brush. Filled tin to half-way with batter (lemon and blueberry) but could've done to three-quarters to achieve the full bundt pattern, fan oven 160 degrees (but preheated to 180 degrees) for 50 minutes, removed from oven, left cake in tin for 10 minutes, unmoulded, let cake cool before decorating (1.5 hours). There are detailed tips and knacks at the Nordic Ware website.

Worth buying the cleaning brush as well if you want longevity of the baking tin.
