    Hauntingly reminiscent of weathered tombstones in a cemetery, these cakelets will steal the show this Halloween. The detailed design of each one is baked right into the cake. No decoration is necessary, but if you must, a simple dusting of powdered sugar or a brush of thin glaze will make these irresistible. Great for cake and brownies, creepy and whimsical all at once, these spirited cakelets are designed to stand on end and create a life-like graveyard scene at the table. An eerie graveyard centerpiece scene, for ghoul and goblin guests to devour. Made in the USA of durable cast aluminum with premium nonstick coating for a lifetime of baking enjoyment. Use and care: Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular cooking spray. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

    I purchased this pan specifically for our family Halloween party. I already a pan with skulls that I got the year before so I wanted another Halloween themed pan but not another skeleton variety. I thought the tombstones would be fun and look good without frosting. This pan did just that. It was perfect for my black cocoa cake recipe (made about 3 cups of batter). I just used a baking spray with flour and the cakelets easily came out. If it stuck a bit, I gave it a little nudge with a bamboo skewer to help it pop out. The design imprint came out nicely. Since it's NordicWare, like their other pans, I have confidence it will last us for many Halloweens to come. I am very happy with this purchase.
