If you are baking cakes with a lighter consistency, use shortening and flour on your pans, and they won't stick to your baking pans. For hardier baked goods like muffins, Pound Cakes, and Yellow Cakes, Baker's Joy will do in a pinch.
Bakers Joy does what it's supposed to, but it's so messy, I'm going back to the Pillsbury product, (or I might try the Pam with flour if I can find it...)
I ran across a thread on Baker's Joy and then searched for it online. I found it on Amazon but at nearly ten bucks a can, that's more than I wanted to spend for perfection. Bummed out, I thought I'd try my local Walmart to see if I could find Pam for Baking. I couldn't find it but next to the regular Pam was, you guessed it, Baker's Joy- for less than three dollars!
I got the stuff for a lemon Bundt Cake and my Baker's Joy and headed home. I followed the instructions on the can, poured my batter, and when the cake finished baking, I let it cool nearly completely, and inverted my pan, let me tell you this was the most beautiful Bundt cake I had ever seen! Of course, I might be biased. :o)
Today I made a chocolate swirl cheesecake with a graham cracker crust and worried about my spring form pan, I used Baker's Joy. Now my cake is cooling completely, without the ring and with an intact crust and cake and I can't be happier!
Thank you Baker's Joy! I don't praise Wally World much but in this case, I can't help it- at 3 USD a can, this is the place to get it. Thanks WalMart.

Works much better than Pam for baked goods. Magic in a spray can.Published 2 months ago by Stephen L
This is OK if you are really in a rush. But after trying it I tend to go back to buttering and flouring my pans. I'll keep it and use it - just not as much as I had hoped.Published 4 months ago by Bird
It really is a Joy to use this for baking. I spray my Bundt pans regularly with this and also my more intricately formed Nordic Ware and Kaiser pans. Read morePublished 14 months ago by Julie W. Snyder
Absolutely wonderful product. My cake comes out clean, no crumbs on the bottom which makes it very easy to put icing on. I would not bake without it ever again.Published 18 months ago by Liza Yip

This stuff works
Use it for my rosé bundt cake and it slips out sooo easily
Out of the pan each and every time
Will never use another product
This is a great product for bakers who need to grease and flour a pan. Much quicker, and the baked products come out of the pan more easily as well. Read morePublished on June 12, 2013 by Michigan Shopper
