We make a wide variety of formed and cast aluminum griddles to suit every cooking style and need. Great for the grill too! Our durable PFOA-free nonstick coatings hold up for years of use.

How It’s Made: Cast Griddles

Cast aluminum griddles arrive from the die casting facility with sharp, burred edges. Over the decades, our metal fabrications department has perfected the way in which we process castings to ensure smooth, quality parts that you'll be proud to have in your kitchen. Here, our griddles are shown in the routing machine. The perimeter of each griddle is trimmed and smoothed by a rotating bit, and the inside of each handle is trimmed out. The bits of scrap that come from this process are recycled, which contributes to our overall effort toward manufacturing sustainability and eliminating waste.

70 Years of Innovation

With wife Dotty at his side, Dave Dalquist returned from WWII to start a business. From humble beginnings in a basement, Nordic Ware has become an internationally distributed kitchenware brand with a variety of product lines, hundreds of products and millions of fans!

Still a family owned and operated in the US, the company is honored to occupy a place in the new Food History exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. cheap product for the price

This item has unmilled poured mold handles that are rough, the bottom and outer sides have small lumps from production. Overall for the price, it is very cheap looking with lines, creases and little metal lumps. There is no heft to this item, it is surprisingly light-too light. The inside seems okay but has a very rough finish overall, like sandpaper, but things are not sticking to it so it's working. I would NOT spend full price for this item, or any other from this company unless I could inspect it first. All this being said, I am keeping it, just won't make this mistake again.

Best non-stick grill I've ever owned !

I have had a number of grill pans and this is the overall BEST. For a few reasons.

1. It truly is non-stick. We cook without added oil and we have NEVER needed oil on this. Everything slides right off and a wipe with a damp dishcloth is normally all the cleanup required.

2. The handles are a godsend . As mentioned, some grills come as a flat grill without handles. If you ever need to move a flat grill around when it's hot - well - it just doesn't work. These handles make this grill very easy to use. Even when extremely hot.

3. The higher edge is great for doing stir-fry or similar cooking. Lots of room for the food.

This purchase was actually as a gift for our daughter. We've had our own Nordicware Griddle for 2-3 years now and highly recommend it.
