Present a fancy dessert to your guests with this elegantly sculptured pan. Just bake your favorite recipe, and top with glaze and fruits. Pan has basket-weave design on sides and fruit design on top.The well on top holds fruit custard and other fillings. Or simply dust with powder sugar. Proudly made in the USA by Nordic Ware.
This Fancy Marianne pan from NordicWare's Platinum baking series gives cakes and molds a country-fresh presentation. Featuring a basketweave design ringed with realistic fruit clusters, it's reminiscent of a bursting picnic basket and makes a perfect touch to brunches, bridal showers, and summer desserts. Bakers will love the heavyweight cast aluminum construction for its gentle, balanced heating that produces deliciously moist centers and lightly browned crusts. The pan also features a nonstick interior for easy food release and a heat-reflective exterior to prevent edges from overcooking and burning. Especially durable and warp-resistant, every detail on the pan transfers clearly to the baked good-simply dust with powdered sugar or pull out decorating tools and get creative! A narrow outside rim facilitates flipping and carrying. Measuring 10-1/2 by 2-1/2 inches, this pan is best washed by hand to ensure years of quality service. It is made in the USA and comes with a recipe and limited lifetime warranty. --Kara Karll

Serving the cake requires a large cake platter. Note the diameter and have an appropriate size available.
Very heavyweight pan, too, which no doubt contributed to the fantastic browning of the surface of the cake. I simply dusted the top with a bit of powdered sugar and served it with fresh berries and cream.
