    My son and I made this together. Neither of us is an expert cook by any stretch, but we had fun. We used Pam Perfect Release (cooking spray that contains flour). I was surprised how easily it came out of the pan, and impressed with how detailed the cake was. The chimney cracked a little, and the small trees on the sides broke off, but we “fixed” them with frosting. The gingerbread cake recipe it came with has a great flavor and texture, too. Cleaning the pan afterwords wasn’t bad. I think this will be a continuing holiday tradition in our family.

    Sprayed well with bakers joy made rum cake in it, put a little batter first then chopped pecans, and rest of batter made for Thanksgiving early, let it cool completely, flipped onto a plate baked 360 1 hr 15 mins came out easy no problem used 1 and 1/4 cake mix since everyone said not enough still had to cut some off to trim flat so not bad

    I love this house baking tin. I made an edable village for the church at Christmas. This house was the centre piece. Everyone said how beautiful it was. This Nordic tin has such fine detail from every angle. Nordic are amazing and always give a free recipe, all of which are great.
    These Nordic tins arr6solid are solid and certainly made to last. I would recommend this beautiful item.
