Use and Care for Natural Aluminum

• Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.

• Dishwasher use is not advised as discoloration will occur due to the cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.

• Natural aluminum pans work well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and also traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. When roasting savory foods such as vegetables, butter or cooking oil work well.

• Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum pans, but will not affect baking performance

• Aluminum is reactive to acidic ingredients such as vinegar and tomato products. These foods may darken, pit or corrode the pan after prolonged use.

I bought 8 of these as a Christmas present for my spouse. I was confident this would be a great purchase thanks to the many good reviews. Now I'm wondering how many reviews were "plants."

Used a pan for the first time today. It warped as soon as it touched the preheated oven rack!! The sheet itself was room temperature, so there was no unreasonable thermal shock. This is completely unacceptable. I suppose the other 7 sheets will do the same thing.

I'm very disappointed with my purchase. Seems that Amazon reviews aren't much more than initial impressions of products and borderline useless.

I like this cooking sheet!!! I like being able to bake a whole salmon filet without it drooping over the edges or having to cut it! I like being able to cook 2 full racks of spare ribs with pleny of room to spare! I like that it fits in my oven nicely with just enough room left for heat to circulate! I like being able to cook a $#!t-load of cookies in one go!

I bought a silicone baking mat to go in this, so I don't have to work so hard to keep it clean. I keep them both lightly oiled regardless of what the recipe calls for-- it makes it easier to clean this.

It did warp the first time I used it, baking at only 400F. Also on the outer edge, the metal is bent around to form a nice lip but it isn't completely sealed so it forms a small tube where it will be easy for grease/dirt/germs to accumulate so watch out!

These Nordic Ware pans are kitchen workhorses. I have three sizes in my kitchen now, the quarter, the half, and now the large. They are all made from the same durable aluminum. They clean up beautifully and they last. They heat evenly and beautifully. And, at this price, if you ruin one, you won't cry. I use these for everything from baking, to roasting vegetables, to catching drippings off meats. The large size is especially great for all the sheet pan dinner recipes that have become popular. The larger size ensures that the food won't be overcrowded.

One note is that putting these in the dishwasher will alter the color/finish of the pan, although it won't affect it's use. A couple of mine have been run through the dishwashers by others in my house. They aren't as pretty, but still work fine. These sheets are easy enough to clean that I think that it is far easier to clean them by hand.

I finally found a quality sheet that fills my entire oven (with 3/4" on each side) and is big enough for an entire package of bacon (24oz, thick-sliced). I purchased the corresponding Nordic non-stick rack which allows for perfectly cooked, flat, crispy bacon every time. Add a little foil, clean-up is a breeze. This is quality cookware that doesn't warp or bend-- it costs a little more that the others but I think it's totally worth it.

I was tired of the cheaper sheet pans warping or flexing in oven temps over 350 degrees. I finally bit the bullet and bought this Nordic Ware sheet pan. It is sturdy, shiny and so far, hasn't warped even in 400-450 degree oven temps. It does not have a non-stick surface, so you'll want to grease the pan or use parchment paper when you use it. Clean up is easier that way. Be aware that if you use a Brillo, steel wool or SOS pad, you will get fine scratches on the surface and won't have that perfect surface for very long. I would recommend this pan. Make sure this one is the size you want, as it is rather large.

I would never, ever, even consider purchasing a baking sheet that was different than this ever again. These are a straight up game changer for cooking. Don't bother with the little sheets that are non-stick or silicone or any of the other things that people try to market to us as being the best. These are the exact perfect size (the big sheet) and they are so much more durable than I anticipated. These things are HEFTY and solid.

I used these the day they showed up and have been using them every day since. They are so versatile. Two of these completely fill 2 racks on my stove. Everything gets cooked perfectly and at one time. Just awesome, I can't stress it enough. Never going back.

This is definitely one to avoid. Cookies come out flat, things don't crisp up on this, and it's damn near impossible to clean in your regular at home size sinks. It stains, it starts to warp, and it's a total dud. I was so excited to get this , and to be able to throw on tons of chicken and tots at once for my family of 6, none of it will crisp up on here. The heat distribution is terribly uneven. So I've tried cookies on here a couple times... Nope. Come out totally flat and gross. Guess I'll keep looking for a big family size cookie sheet. Haven't found a decent one yet. Oh, and I can't return this.

Great baking sheet! It’s big enough to use in my oven and when I bake cookies for the holiday. This thing rocks. This is my first natural aluminum cooking baking sheet. I used to own the steel one with nonstick spry I think I’ll never go back. Because it’s lightweight and does not rust. I love it.

After couple of weeks of using it. here is the update.

STILL GOOD AS NEW! The cleaning process is very easy just simple soap and light scrub everything is off. no burnt marks either. I DO NOT recommend to put this thing in dishwasher. hand wash only!

Since we did not want to risk discoloration or warping DH would not let me try it in the oven so I don't know how easy it is to clean.

Given its size, it is harder to clean and the food seemed to like to cake on there. After 2 washes it was ready to go ( took a second wash to remove the extra layer of "silver" which begs some questions.

Overall it is a nice large pan, hard to clean without a scrub and you dont really want to given how nice it looks :P. Wish the price was a little better but given the amount of material too, would likely buy again.
