- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2009I love my larger 12 cup Nordic Ware Bundt pan, but I wanted something that would make smaller cakes so I bought this pan that I've knicknamed my "baby" bundt. The size is perfect for smaller families or smaller gatherings where a full size bundt would be dessert overkill. Because this pan is exactly half the size of a full size bundt, it's easy to half recipes to fit in the pan. The pan cleans easily, and bundts slide right out as long as you spray the pan with some nonstick cooking spray (like Pam) before using.
If you are a serious baker that likes to make bundts, this is a good pan to add to your collection.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2013This is such a cute little bundt. By the way, I love saying the word bundt! But back to the pan itself. It is a super cute, super non-stick pan that is the perfect size for a 2 people cake. The other sizes were huge and I really don't need all that extra carb load, but I was dying to bake my Grandmother's recipe for a Harvey Wallbanger cake. This pan turned out to be a Godsend. I would definitely recommend it if you don't feel like pigging out, but you want a nice fresh cake.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2013I need these to make rum cakes to Christmas back in 2012 I wanted more variety and my sizes of rum cakes. I was making the mini cakes, then the small fist size cake and the medium gift size cake and I wanted to be able to have a good slice size for parties so I got 2 of this large size. As being a baker I try may different pans and such and I would highly recommend these they are light weight and the run cakes baked up really well in these. So these are a must have.
This was what I used it for and they worked well.
Rum Cakes
For Pan:
* ½ cup chopped pecans
* Grease pans with a stick of butter and or criso (because the bundt pans have small spaces it is easier to grease the pans using your fingers), then when covering the pans in flour sprinkle a little bit in each bunt and take the other pan lay it over top of the floured one and flip, shake, and pat pan that way both pans get floured well and less mess everywhere. If doing a large bundt pan just shake the flour around to coat the bottom and then flip over quickly in the sink or trash can that way it coats the sides.
* Then sprinkle the nuts in the bottom of the pan
For Cake:
* 1 box Butter Golden Duncan Hines cake mix
* 1 small box vanilla instant pudding
* ½ cup Bacardi light rum
* 1/3 cup butter (softened)
* ½ cup oil
* 4 eggs
Glaze:
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1/4 cup water
* 1 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup Bacardi light rum (Dark works too)
Instructions:
1. Prepare pans first however many you are doing , and preheat oven to 325degrees
2. Mix all cake ingredients for 2-3 minutes (you want it to be a little runny to make it easier to fill pan(s))
3. Bake at 325 ...see next page for pan size bake time and fill pan amout
4. Combine glaze ingredients in sauce pan, bring to a boil on low heat (you may increase the heat if need, the whole process should not take too long) and boil for 2-3 minutes then set to cool
5. Leave cake pan to cool for 10 minutes, and take a spatula to lift the sides loose but leave the cake in the pan, this help for when adding glaze.
6. With cakes still in pans make sure the pan are no longer hot, they need to be slightly warm not hot. Take the glaze and pour over cake making sure to get it in the sides (you can pour some let it sit a second or two for it to drain down into the cake and then pour the rest on the cake, you will you all the glaze) the let it all sit to cool, putting it outside during the winter time can help them cool faster if you are trying to reuse the pan for another batch.
7. Once cake is cooled completely run a spatula down the sides again, flip pan over onto a flat surface not a cooling rack and then wrap in plastic wrap when ready. If you want to freeze wrap in plastic wrap then foil then plastic wrap again should be good for a month or two.
Bundt pan sizes and bake times:
A LARGE covers one batch of cake mix. Each size down from the large will make the amount I have list below from one batch of cake mix. The large Bundt takes a full cake mix, any of the size down from the large just fill the pans to half full, if any is left over just distribute.
(This was the one I bought for this)Large Bundt pan: 60 min @325
Medium, makes 4 Bundt: 50min @325
Small, makes 12 Bundts:30min @ 325
X-Small, makes 36 Bundts: about 20min @ 325 (might be more might be less play these by ear)
- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2010I tested the capacity of this pan by pouring 6 cups of water into it before I completed my recipe, and the pan really is just shy of 6 cups, it holds more like 5-1/2 cups and that is right to the rim, a level to which no pan can be filled with actual batter. I was worried because I was baking a pound cake recipe that makes a lot of thick batter and requires a true 12 cup pan when making the full recipe. But I want to make smaller cakes since we don't have a big family and a standard cake recipe just sits on the counter for days or on our waistlines for weeks, so I decided to chance it. I halved the recipe and I held my breath waiting for an overflow and smoke alarm event. However, the center tube has a little shelf on it that kept this from happening. The cake is beautifully browned. The recipe rises high and so the actual cake kind of looks like a little globe since when inverted it is sitting on the part that rose a little above the rim of the pan and this comes out somewhat rounded. But it's just for us and it's the right size. Perhaps a different recipe will yield different results, we shall see. I always grease and flour my pans no matter what their marketing claim might be. The interior of this pan is also very smooth. The cake popped right out. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think if it's marketed as a 6 cup pan, it should hold 6 cups. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2010Love this pan!!
This is the perfect bundt pan that makes exactly 2 medium size cakes instead of 1 large bundt cake. It is a very good size (not too small) and is great for the holidays for gift giving. I wish I had ordered 2 of them because you can make 2 cakes from 1 cake mix recipe. I will order another. Although the pan is lightweight unlike some other pans, it works well so far (I've used it a few times) and the cake comes out very easliy and cleans well.
Nice purchase!! : )
- Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2013This pan is medium size and I have a very large family, so I had to make two of the same cakes. I thought it would have been larger.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2019Tried it out but the zucchini bread did stick and came out in pieces so back to spray and flour. These are serviceable but definitely not heavyweight .

Beatriz A. GarcíaReviewed in Spain on April 9, 20153.0 out of 5 stars Se nota diferencia con los Nordic Ware tradicionales
El dibujo no queda tan marcado y el molde es mucho más ligero. Pero es un buen molde y los bizcochos salen preciosos.
DorienReviewed in the United Kingdom on February 14, 20145.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful looking cake
I made a marble cake using chocolate mixture and banana mixture. It was baked beautifully in this tin and was a stunning looking cake with the impressed pattern on. The nonstick pan was very, very easy to clean and required a very small amount of spray. I would recommend this tin if you want to impress friends and family. You won't be disappointed

I followed the instructions regarding washing before use, oiling and dusting with flour, but the cake still stuck.

Arrived quickly. Great non stick coating.
Sandra SReviewed in Canada on February 25, 20141.0 out of 5 stars Sub standard quality
I ordered this pan because it was the perfect size for two of us, after making larger Bundt cakes for many years. The first one ordered came with an obvious manufacturer's defect - the top of the funnel was only partially attached. This second one ordered was a replacement for that. I have used it twice and now the non stick coating appears to be defective. It has bubbled in each of the deeper crevices and started to flake. Not planning to try this again.
