New studies emerge every day that point to the negative impacts of prolonged sitting. Now, with the NordicTrack Treadmill desk, you can exercise while you work. Take advantage of the oversized desktop and iFit training technology, which delivers personal trainer-designed workouts and automatic tracking of every workout, every mile and every calorie burned.
*Continuous Horsepower ("CHP") is a term used in the treadmill industry for consumer comparison purposes. The CHP rating is measured in laboratory testing using a dynamometer, which measures the mechanical power of the motor. The CHP rating does not denote the operational horsepower of the treadmill in ordinary household use. In ordinary household use, the motor does not operate at the horsepower shown.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars was that that damn desk part is REALLY hard to adjust, takes two people, and landed painfully on my head while trying to get it in the right spot after multiple tries, the equivalent of threading a needle with a thirty pound weight on your hand.
Thankfully, we eventually got it where I want it and now I don't have to put on a football helmet and rent a football player to help me set the height!
Get one. Your butt will thank you, once you get the height adjusted.
The belt curls up a bit on both sides which looks odd but doesn't seem to affect how well the belt moves.
The guy who came to assemble it brought his wife and 9-year-old (?) daughter which was a bit awkward, but he did a fine job putting it together. He, they, cleaned up most, but not all, of the styrofoam bits from the den where the machine was set up, but just set the box next to our outdoor trash bin with the rest of the broken up bits of styrofoam sitting on top of the box so they blew all over our neighborhood and we had to pick them all up when we noticed them later that night. All in the spirit of getting exercise this experience has been, if not exactly how I'd hoped.
My only complaints:
The desktop is not real wood - it just has a small layer of wood material. Not to say it’s not good quality or anything, I just prefer wood over the cheap stuff.
The belt curls slightly on my unit. Adjusting only seems to tighten the center of the of it. It would be nice to have something covering the sides like you see on most treadmills.
Adjusting the desk height is no easy task. Completely empty it requires two people. I put a dual monitor mount on mine and now it’s almost impossible to adjust even with another person. It would have been nice to have a motorized option.
Even after you get it assembled, you will still need 2 people just to raise and lower the desk height. Like I said, it's very, very heavy. It may be useful to have an electronic desk lift build in but I'm sure that would make it heavier and more expensive. The desktop swivels 90 degrees so that the treadmill can be stored - but good luck moving it. Because of the swivel, the desktop does not feel as sturdy as it probably should.
I could not get the iFit app to work but that wasn't really a reason that I bought it. The NordicTrack Desk Treadmill is good but I would not recommend it to a friend.
