I just got this and it's a nice bundt pan. This is a much smaller one than another one I got yesterday. With this pan, you will need at least 2 of these for a regular box of cake mix I believe. The other platinum pan you can use up 1 box of cake mix in it by itself and it's not really mini size. This one is mini sized. I'll update this when I use it. It looks like it's coated with a non stick. I'm not sure about that for sure so don't quote me on it. But on the directions for use it says you have to grease it or spray it with a flour based spray. So I'm sure Baker's Joy will work just fine for the inside of the pan.
Can't wait to use it this weekend. I've been waiting for these pans based on the reviews. It looks really nice. Well made. Heavy duty. The color coating on the outside of the pan is in tact. Nothing peeling. No scratches. It was well packaged. So we'll see how things turn out. I'm definitely going to have to get some more cake mix for the other pan however. Otherwise if I bake these 2 together from 1 box of mix, I'm not going to have enough batter. Plus I wanted to make a few cupcakes along with this as well. Lots of goodies!
Update: 21 September 2017- I noticed a few gold colored and white metal chips on my clothes that came from this pan. I'll wash it good and I hope it corrects the problem. I don't want that in my cakes. Downgrading to 4 stars for now.
Update: 23 September 2017- I just used this and my cakes came out very lovely! I used 2 boxes of cake mix, sprayed the pan with Bakers Joy and they came right on out the pans. I made the 2 pans and I had enough cake mix left over to make 4 small cupcakes. Love these pans! Upgraded back to 5 stars. Highly recommend! I washed the pan and I didn't notice anymore chip shavings coming from it.
