I purchased this bundt pan in November and have already used it twice for the holidays. First, and most importantly, this pan is very sturdy, well made (as usual) and easy to fill with batter. I find that it heats evenly, and using a little veggie spray with a slight dusting of flour makes removal of the cake very easy to do after it cools sufficiently in the pan. (I too found it helpful to bump the pan on the counter a couple of times to make sure any air bubbles would release from the edges of the swirl.) My family raved about the simplicity and beauty of this cake design - - you can dress it up, or keep it simple. The "sharp" lines of the spiral edges are very unique, something you don't see often in bundt pans. The design also shows well when the cake slices are cut and placed on desert plates. If the cake is kept "simple", at this point, you can add any special touch you desire. Let your imagination go wild!!! Clean up is easy to do if you soak the pan in hot soapy water (I use Dawn), and use a non-scratch dish washing brush to make sure any crumbs in the edges are removed. So far, there has been very little cake residue for me to worry with. This was a "Santa" gift to myself, and I will treasure it for a long time. My family will reap the rewards of the goodies I bake for them as well. It was worth every penny and I am "pleased as punch" to own such a treasure.

This is an investment but a good one. The pan is sturdy and the pattern is beautiful. Grease and flour well, and then spray it with Pam for best results. It makes any dessert look special, but you just can’t miss with the “Too Much Chocolate Cake” recipe. Add 1 teaspoon espresso powder, 1/2 cup ground almond flour, and 1 teaspoon almond extract to the regular recipe for a gourmet version. It’s too pretty to frost, but serve with a generous spoonful of ganache on the side. Add fresh, seasonal berries and whipped cream.

You'll dazzle everyone with anything coming out of this bundt pan - doesn't matter if the recipe is bad!! just kidding, they just come out so beautiful you don't need to do anything more to it - great for last-minute presents. I'd be careful though as to greasing the pan very well. You won't regret purchasing this pan, it'll become an heirloom.
