Product Description

Measures: 9" x 6" x 1" / 23cm x 15cm x 2. 5cm. Elevates meat, fish and vegetables for faster, healthier cooking! Promotes even heating and browning; prevents the bottom of meats from burning and sticking. High heat resistant to 500˚F / 260˚C. Indents on the bottom help release and drain grease and fats into pan. Won’t warp, rust or retain odors. Safe for stainless steel, nonstick, glass and enameled pans. Nonstick for easy release and quick clean up. Fits a variety of roasting pan sizes and shapes. Use on baking sheets with bacon. Just lay the bacon on top of the roasting rack and back at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes. Bacon strips cook evenly on both sides without turning or flipping and leaving your stove top and counter splatter free. Doubles as a trivet. Roasting tips and instructions included. Dishwasher safe.

Received yesterday and used today.Large slow cooker with disposable liner.6 county-style pork ribs (seasoned / rubbed 3 days ago).Cooked on low for 8 hours.Removed and placed on tinfoil-covered pizza pan. Slopped bbq on one side and oven-broiled for 10 minutes. Flipped and did same.Product worked very well.I washed well and do not detect lingering odor.Keeping in mind this is my initial use, I highly recommend it. My next use will likely be a whole chicken.Minimal cleanup:Wash the rack.Toss foil and liner.EZPZ.

This rack works great for cooking, I use it for making pot roast. I am very happy with it for that purpose. The downside is that it holds smell. Even after the dishwasher it smells like pot roast. Even after boiling it for 30 minutes, it still smells like pot roast. Granted it is a good smell but I would rather it not have any smell after the dishwasher.

After reading the other reviews on this product, we made sure to bake it by itself before using it for food. While heating, we didn't notice any off smell at all coming from the oven or while removing from the oven.

We've been using this for baking 3-4 lbs pork shoulders and it works well. The meat doesn't stick to it, so removing the roast from the pan is very easy. We've run into no issues using this. Pay attention to the dimensions. You aren't going to use this for a large roast or a turkey. Although taking 2 of these and placing them at an angle would support large cuts just fine.

One recommendation is to wash it right away after use. We waited until the next day once and the drippings were harder to clean off after they had dried completely.

Very happy with this and well worth the price.

This worked great in my "Hamilton Beach Stay or Go 5 Quart Slow Cooker 33254H". Fits perfectly in the bottom. I boiled mine in water before using it, due to smell and suggestions from other reviewers. It keeps the food from soaking in its greasy fat. It's about 1 inch thick and that may not be enough to keep bottom foods out of the fat, but still good. I gave it a quick manual cleaning then stuck it in the dishwasher.
