Well, my little pressurized friends, there is a solution. Take that freakin' hose and hang it. Hang it above your head for all to see. Well, not all. Maybe just your spouse and the dog. Or the occasional plumber on his way to fix the toilet you clogged again. (you should really stop that, but I digress)
This cpap hose holder does exactly what it's supposed to do. It holds the hose. Ingenious yet simple. Yes, you could pay your butler to stand there all night and hold the hose, but that's just creepy. Plus, I want my butler fresh in the morning when he brings me my paper and breakfast in bed.
Let's get back to hanging your hose. This contraption isn't some Rube Goldberg deal. It's very easy to put together. Slide one pole into the other until you run out of poles. Stick the base between you mattress and box springs and you're almost there. If you sleep on a futon, grow up, get a job, and buy a real bed.
Next step, pay close attention on this one as it's tough. Thread the hose through the loop at the top of the pole. Now, sit down and have a beer. You've earned it.
Let's address some of the issues raised by other reviewers.
Materials - Yes, it's lightweight. If you want something heavier duty, sleep next to the light pole outside of your house.
Construction - Yes, it's lightweight. It's not made for pole dancing. If it's pole dancing strength you're looking for, ask your nearest pole dancer where you can buy quality poles.
So what else do you want to know? The pythagorean theorem? Don't bother as I didn't pay attention in biology class. (or whatever class it was, but once again, I digress)
Last but not least, let me address the fact that I did not receive this product at a reduced price for my honest review. Nope, these schlups charged me full boat. I paid every last cent that they demanded for their product. I'm not beholden to any of these pole purveyors. And yet, I still like their product.
I'm actually sick of the five star reviews for a product given to a consumer for free. Half of those goons would give a five star rating to a steaming pile of cow dung if it was shipped to their house at no cost. (I know, I know, I'm digressing once again)
I have 2, one for my hose and one to hold my spouse blow protector. :) So many say use a pillow or whatever. But this works so much better and can be turned against the headboard when not in use.
Parts needed. 1 hose holder, 1 king size pillow case, 2 pool noodles. Cut one pool noodle to put at the bottom of the pillow case to fit snuggly. It will keep it wide at the bottom. Gently fold the second one in into a U shape inside the pillow case to fill the body of the pillow case. Then just gather the top of the pillow case and put it through the hose holder. I adjust pillow case unevenly such that the bottom will lay against the surface of the bed when pulled slightly out from headboard.
Stays put all night and doesn't take up as much room as pillows. Pics attached.

I got them much cheaper locally at a pool supply. The dollar store I think even has them in the summer time. I used the cheap 2.5 inch ones that are around 4 or 5 feet long.

WOW it's unbelievable the difference it has made to me. My cpap is more comfortable to use and no hose issues during the night.
Well thanks to pictured device I have had for the 2nd night in a row a solid sleep without a single CPAP hose interruption. Significantly much more rested.
Ironic that the CPAP’s intent is to help you with breathing so sleep is less interrupted and better quality (which it is) but physicians and manufacturers don’t consider the reality that at least for some of us, controlling the darn hose can still cause enough interruptions to significantly impact the quality of sleep. Using this simple device truly elevated the quality of my sleep to another level.
Should be a built in mandatory feature. Crazy that it’s not. BTW the cost locally was ludicrous. ⅓ the price on Amazon and eBay. Very sorry I waited so long. If you too suffer from Hose Interrupted Sleep (H.I.S.) :) I highly recommend the investment.
I had considered ordering a much more expensive brand but I'm glad that I didn't. Once the pieces are firmly snapped together, this is super sturdy. I also love that I can fold it up to travel. The price is very reasonable and I have no complaints!
I replaced it last year with a Hose Buddy (purchased through amazon.com) which I love and recommend without reservation.
I purchased this CPAP hose holder again to use for travel.
