A bit pricey, but buy it if you can find a discount somewhere. Good job north face--Don't change anything about these gloves.
Update: So I've spent more time with these gloves and I found something else I don't care for. Half of the palm/fingers have a material on them in a pattern that is supposed to improve traction for grip. The problem is it isn't a rubbery material, it's more of a plastic or screen printed material. It doesn't add to the grip and is really just a waste. Overall not horrible gloves, but not perfect either.
For anything but extreme cold weather, this glove is really good. The style is nice and they fold up in your coat pocket easily.
If I could change something it would be the gantlet. I use these gloves when riding my motorcycle mostly because I use a tablet for GPS and taking gloves off to touch the display is a pain. A longer gauntlet would allow covering the gap between the jacket and glove a lot easier. If it had a longer gauntlet I'd rate it 5 stars.
Long story short, these are either mislabeled as to size, or not authentic North Face, or a dud batch. I've bought about 6 of these same gloves over the past years -- I constantly lose one or leave both in a cab. First time buying them online and these are obviously one or two sizes smaller than true and authentic (REI / LL Bean) Large, as evidenced by the authentic singleton glove's having a half-inch extra of fabric when overlaid with the new one.
If you must purchase these, buy up a size or two.
I used the original pair primarily when walking outside when it was cold or cool...
They fit perfect ( not too tight nor loose ).
I wear XL...
The etips work very good on smartphone touch screens...
The seller was very credible, honest and I'd buy from them again.
These are still pretty new and haven't been washed at all yet. I'm about to wash them for the first time so we will see how they do with that.
