The price was very reasonable since tents in Hawaii are expensive. I got two because one for me and one for my kids. We are familiar with the brand. I like Northwest territory we had no problems before with our 3 room tent. So that's why I made the choice to order these! Nothing was wrong with the product we were not happy with the tent because it says sleeps two-three people but really it only can fit two small adults my husband is 6ft. It was too small for me and him and surely won't be able to fit another person. It was good for my kids who are 10-8 I wouldn't sleep not more two kids per tent. It's kinda snug. I guess we weren't use to sleeping in little tents. We needed something more with height and breathing room. You wouldn't be able to fit a queen size air mattress in this tent.
I used the tent for the first time, this weekend; it rained . . . at which point, I discovered that while the rain shield is water proof, the rest of the tent is NOT. Every area of fabric that was not covered by the rain shield, that had water touch it, had water on the inside of the tent. The flooring of the tent seemed to be okay, and did not let water in - however the brand new, taken straight out of the box tent did not. Yes, this is an easy thing to fix (when your not camping in the rain), but not something you think will be needed when it's brand new.
The other note I'll add, is that while this purports to be a 3 man tent; a blown-up basic (least expensive-bargain store) queen size air mat will cover all but about a foot of the tent's interior footprint on either end. 3 adults could probably fit, if they REALLY enjoyed each other's company - but I'd say it's a great size for 3 preteens and maybe 4 kids.
