This book is utterly fantastic. The author had a unique, wonderful, and continuous view of the special prosecutor's office that he worked in for both Archibald Cox and then Leon Jaworski after Nixon fired Cox in the Saturday night massacre. Throughout his experience he kept detailed notes and recordings of crucial events which he then used to write this fascinating book. Although Doyle is not a lawyer he has obviously developed a deep understanding of the legal system and shared many amazing, inside moments that kept me glued to the end. Even though I am a lawyer with 30 years experience who has been studying Watergate for the lasts several months, I learned some very important new legal points that are very helpful with my own research. Apparently, Mr. Doyle almost did not finish this book due to his own personal life complications I am thankful that he did; otherwise, a wealth of valuable information would probably have been lost forever.
