Author DiAnne Berry describes empaths this way. "Empaths are people that commonly use their empathic ability to connect very intimately with other beings or objects. Most ... are unskilled and can’t help but be in someone else’s shoes. Most often other people’s shoes pinch, hurt, or there are pebbles in them. They don’t feel good at all. Yet the unskilled empath continues walking there in spite of the pain because they don’t know what else to do."
The very cool thing about this book is that DiAnne provides the answers for what else to do! She not only brings understanding and validation, she also provides skill building techniques that help the empath manage the experience of living. These are skills that would be useful to anyone, normals too!
Whether you think you might be an empath or just want to find better emotional management techniques, read this book!
DiAnne describes the joy of helping others: "This is my favorite part as an empath I get to ride right along with this rising joy. I know as I monitor the fear and doubt unraveling as they still struggle for a foothold in her being. Then she grabs onto the hope that what I’m sharing does explain why she experiences so much of life differently than those around her. She feels free.
She’s not crazy! She’s an empath!"
