"Absolutely amazing book! Jack is one my most favorite male characters, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading his story. I can't say enough good things about this book or the author. Highly recommend any/everything she writes!" ~ Midwest Book Lover Blog

Love the way the author handled this sequel. I learned so much about Jack Stevens' past and what drove him into the Dom/Sub lifestyle to begin with. It says so much that he couldn't bear to live without his 'Breath' for even a week, yet the man who claimed to love her, her husband of twenty plus years, barely put up a fight for her. I fell for Jack Stevens hard. And it's lines like this that are to blame: 'I love being with you, and listening to you, and being happy for the things that make you happy. But most of all, I love being with you for how you make me feel about me. I've told you before that I'm a selfish man. I want you. Nothing more.' *thud*

The dinner, the trip to the vineyard, the ballet, the promise ring...all roads lead to Jack. Now I'm left here dreaming about finding my own version. The ending was spectacular, especially with the 'mile high' capper. An incredibly entertaining read from start to finish!!

After reading Ditching the Dream, I fell in love with Jack. He was so right for Beth and when she went home to try to work things out with her husband, I understood where she was coming from. But I am so sorry, Greg was an @$$ wipe. I was really looking forward to reading Jack's story and Izzy, you did not disappoint!!. Reading how Jack went into his modeling career and his life until he met Beth, was an eye opener. She shows just how hard it can be to become a model and exactly how hard Jack had to work. And work he does, to become a model, to become the person he is and to become the man that Beth eventually fell in love with. He also works to show Beth how he is the man she belongs with. So, if you read Ditching the Dream, then you definitely need to read this book too, to see how everything comes together. I totally loved it!! I can't wait for Phoebe's story.

I fell in love with Jack in Ditching The Dream, I'm so glad Isabelle was compelled to write Jacks story as well!!

I started reading this morning and couldn't stop until I finished this book today, to be able to watch Jacks journey from the small town kid into the incredible man he became was great!

He's every 40 plus woman's dream and probably a lot of 25-30 year olds as well. He knows what he wants and he goes after it!!

Don't pass over this book ladies......take the time to read it, Isabelle Peterson has written a great story here!! Please keep Jack in any up coming books in this series, can't get enough of him!!!

*Warning: I have already read the books I am covering, any and all posts may and do contain spoilers.

Sex clubs, flogging, whipping, restraints, and ball gags… Do I have your attention? Yah, I thought so. You get this and so much more in Not in my Wildest Dreams. Besides just the kinky sex you get a deeper look into our beloved Jack: the young and dumb boy with a dream, the model, the friend, the student, the Dom, the Sub, and the business man. Izzy delivers another steamy read for book 2.

In Not in my Wildest we see Jack take off for New York on his journey to success. He picks up without a second thought (much like Elizabeth did), and leaves behind everything he knows, even though his family doesn't approve. We get to find out more about him and “B” (Becca), how he finds BDSM and the relationship he and Becca have with this sexual culture. We see what makes the sexual sides of Jack tick.

I love books with strong friendships and I was definitely a fan of the friendship between Jack and Becca. They help heal each other and explore their sexuality in the sex clubs of New York. I like the fact that the strong friendship was highlighted for Jack. In most books the strong bonds we read are the female characters friends. I also enjoyed that the friendship was between opposite sexes. Jack and Becca may have had a sexual relationship but I believe it was emotional (friendship wise) first and foremost. Even a lot of their sexual acts were really about emotion; neither one loved each other romantically and often times when they "played" or received "punishment" it was really about something emotional going on with them they were trying to work through.

My one complaint about Not in my wildest dreams is I would have liked a lot more new material.

If you enjoyed Ditching the Dream you will LOVE Not In My Wildest Dreams. Isabelle out did her self on Jack's POV. I loved him in DTD. I wish he would have fought harder for his heart. In his POV, we get to watch Jack grown into the man that Beth meets 34 years later. I loved watching him grow from the small town bumpkin into the sexy playboy. His growth in age, maturity and financial freedom. He's desire to help the people he loves without rewards. He fought for his heart. Must read. I NEED more Jack!

Cheers to Isabelle Peterson for a fabulous second act. In Ditching the Dream she gave us the fantasy read of "what if". Now in Wildest Dreams we get to continue the journey of where a Dream can take us.I really enjoyed following Jack on his quest to reveal himself and what his dreams are. These 2 books are a great..hot escape..and I know Chasing the Dream will invade my sleep as well!! Dreams and fantasy are a lovely escape..but -just maybe-Isabelle Peterson will make you act on yours.
