The cover even allows for custom designs! The pages are fairly thick, though marker may bleed through a bit. They are pretty much what you can expect from a tiny notebook. It does have completely blank pages. It is a bit fragile, but that's pretty much how it is with anything spiral bound. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it doesn't have exactly 50 pages as stated. I bought this for a specific project I'm working on that I needed 50 pages and was super excited when I saw this but it had less (One has 45 pages and one has 47). Probably not a big issue for most buyers, but just something to be weary about.

Good notebooks, worked as travel journals

I was looking for some notebooks to take on our upcoming trip for my grandsons to use as a travel journal. They were just the right size, had blank paper inside with a spiral binding. Perfect size for our little guys to use. The paper was thick enough that the markers did not bleed through.

I have two small complaints on these notebooks. When they arrived, they were wrapped in plastic. When I opened them, I got a very strong odor! I had to leave them outside on our porch for the entire day to get this scent to go away. The second issue, is the cardboard cover is not very thick or stiff. Thank goodness, the kids were able to flip the pages where both covers were being used as their desk. This seems to help,with the flexibility.

The notebooks were a hit! These boys took their first airplane trip, ages 4 and 6. These books kept them entertained the entire time we were waiting for our flight. Throughout the trip, they would document their day in pictures. The oldest even wrote a note to his grandpa, who couldn’t come on the trip, and we were able to take a picture of his note and sent it to Papa.

These notebooks were exactly what we needed even with their slight flaws.

Nice little sketch journals

These sketch journals are almost exactly what I was looking for. I use to do daily drawings to help grow my skills and keep my creative mind limber; but then I had kids. Recently, I decided to start drawing again but found that using my standard size sketch pad was too cumbersome and very difficult to just whip out for a quick sketch. So that's when I stumbled upon these reasonably priced small sketch journals and decided to give them a try. So far I have found these journals are much easier to keep at an arm's reach should I find a quick moment to draw.

I think these sketch journals should serve my needs nicely, however I do wish the paper weight was a little heavier. This paper is like a slightly heavier weight printer paper; smoother and thinner than I expected based on reviews. I do primarily draw in pen so the smooth paper works nicely for that, but the thinness of the paper does not. I probably wouldn't recommend this sketch pad for graphite or colored pencil as the paper lacks the texture or the tooth preferred for those mediums.

My goal is to draw a bit everyday, practice my pen work, and jump start my creativity: so the overall quality of these sketch pads and their paper should work just fine. I could also see these being perfect for someone new to drawing or someone looking for a travel friendly journal.

What I personally like is the cover surface is smooth, and I was able to stamp a design on the cover to customize it. You can’t beat the price for the quality. Imagination, let us begin there. These are the white, decently thick, inexpensive, plain manila cover clothed 2 dimensional planes of imagination's expression upon our strange world. Be it pen, ink, or marker, the mid will translate into images, drawn by ones hand, what it thinks. Think of these as the key to an inner realm.

Small, handy, inexpensive, decent paper quality, cover is plain and thick for good protection, spiral binding is well made and sturdy enough. I bought two dual packs of these for my nieces and nephews for Christmas and added in markers so they can draw me pictures for my fridge on their travels!
