One of my first real estate books in the 80's. This book is easy to understand that you don't have to be a bank to create a mortgage. Understanding that fact alone and how to create one will advance the number of real estate investments you can make as a investor in real estate. Some times just holding a mortgage is better than holding the actual real estate. I have given this book to four other individual who showed a interest in becoming an investor in real estate. Stocks and Bonds are not the only vehicles to create wealth.

My ex wife bought me this book 33 years ago. I followed the authors recommendations and bettered my retirement! I decided over the last 33 years that the book had really weathered and so I decided to buy the same book in better shape!

I bought my copy used and when it arrived, it was in pretty good condition, considering it was published in the 80's. I will say this about the book, if you plan on investing a dime in real estate, that's 10 pennies, you must read this book first!

I haven’t read the book yet, and it comes highly recommended. My issue is that his seems like an old book. I didn’t get a cover and looks nothing like the image. I don’t like hard bound books without covers and it wasn’t advertised as a used book.

Once I saw the copyright date, I returned book. Book is outdated.

So straight forward.
Even 30+ years after it was written, its still relevant to the real estate market - everywhere.
Let this be your property investment bible.

This book started it all for me back in 1986. I was up late one night, and watched Robert G Allens INFOMERCIAL and the next day, went to Dartmouth Bookstore in Hanover NH and Bought this book. Within 30 days, I bought my first apartment building using Allen's techniques!and from there, built a little real estate empire that produces $10,000 in monthly in Passive income from 40 units after all expenses. Good luck! (Passive income means you only have to work a few hours or less per week to make that passive income! It is the only way to go!!)

I went to one of Robert Allen's seminars and I paid my money to go, and basically the whole time I was there I felt that the whole time was spent trying to sell me into signing up for another seminar where he was going to tell you all the information you were hoping to get when you paid your money for this seminar, and I walked away feeling like I got ripped off, like I paid money for you to tell me something, and all you did was try to sell me something else. I have read nearly all of his books, and that is the feeling that I get when I read this book, and when I read his other books - that all they are is this hype to sell you something else, but I wonder if he ever sells anything that really can make people money and really has any meat in it. maybe it is what prior experience you have and if the book tells you something where you can use your current contacts to make money. I bought a property with no money down- and later I found out why the owners were so eager to sell the property and why they were so willing to let me buy it with no money down - I had headaches for several years trying to deal with this property - so it wasn't lik I wasn't willing to try what he said. my friend went to the same seminar and he bought 5 properties all with no money down, but later he found out why he was able to buy them with no money down and he had a hard time getting out of the mess he got himself into - but both of us were enthusiastic about doing what mr. Allen suggested. Neither of us found our way to wealth, but my friend in that he has had a stable job has done much better than I have. Neither of us really found that real estate to be our way to riches like we thought. This book to me is mostly hype - it doesn't help you deal with the real information you need to deal with properties, titles, real estate companies, slick sales people (like mr. Allen), repairs, tenants, taxes, legal issues, insurance, and on and on and on and on, cleaning, repairs, and endless headaches. I feel that all this is just enough to convince someone who is young, naive, and dreaming of making something out of themselves to do something that might end up being fairly stupid. I dealt with having to pay for a property that I couldn't keep rented due to lousy tenants and I had all kinds of grief that I ended up dealing with.
I think the seminar and the book could have done a better job of preparing me for what I ended up having to deal with and what my friend ended up having to deal with. It did not do that in any way. This is just a bunch of smoke as far as I am concerned. Smoke and that's it. You may not like what I have to say - but I am telling the truth based on my own experiences. I'm sure there are other people who were able to read this and get more out of it, but I would say that these people probably had prior experience that I did n't have. mr Allen acts like you can take a person with desire, but no knowledge and do this kind of stuff, and I disagree. I think it takes much more skills and abilities. The typical person with disabilities couldn't do this stuff - but he makes it sound like they could. They can't - drive isnt' everything - I have a lot of drive, but not a lot of ability. This is a book for suckers. It is ok with me if you don't agree with what I'm saying here. I am sharing my personal experience with this seminar and with this book (which I got at the seminar) - he was basically trying to sell me another book and another seminar the whole time.

Very interesting, with great ideas that now are still useful, even the economical and finantial point of view of the investment.
