5.0 CORRUPT and company runs you in circles trying to speak with someone who gives satisfaction.

I loved Scrapbook 4.0 and when I upgraded my Windows program, 4.0 became incompatible with my pc, so I switched to 5.0. Soon I began to have an issue with saving my photos on the page. the text and background were saved, but my images had diagonal hatch stripes of bright magenta and harsh green! In order to speak to anyone from support, I had to prepay $9.99 for tech support. After proving to tech support that my photos changed to diagonal bars after I saved them, they indicated they were aware of this issue from other customers and that had been able to resolve the problem. No offer to refund money was given, and I was insulted that I WAS still charged for the tech support code! Now I see 5.0 is still being marketed on their site, but in order to find out whether the issue had been resolved I would have to purchase another $9.99 code in order to ask tech support about this issue. I loved the 4.0 version so much and had learned how to manipulate it fluently, so I am once again tempted to take a chance and see if it has been repaired. But that would be really asking for frustration. DON'T FALL FOR THE TRAP.
