This is a very interesting concept and thus makes this a unique gift.
The binding is well made and does not appear to have any space issues or tearing apart issues, at least at this time.
The Leather Cover is nice to the touch, it is engraved with the beginning chapter of Pride and Prejudice running across it like a book (and around the Title of the Journal). Thus another unique aspect of the journal.
Like most journals there is a strap that wraps around the book to hold it shut, that strap is attached to the back cover and thus you pull it to wrap around the entire book when you are through writing.
The inside has a page where you can add your name to let everyone know who this journal belongs to, my only question is will you put your real name or your "pen name" or the name of your favorite Jane Austen Character?
There are plenty of pages for journaling, so that will not disappoint.
The price seemed high to me at first, but now that we have it I think the price is just right for the product.
Seller offers many other classic book journals as well. Check them out!
It is well-bound and pages don't seem like they could fall or rip out easily. It doesn't look or feel cheap at all and I foresee her being able to throw this in a bag or toss it around without it getting damaged. I would definitely recommend this type of journal for anyone who enjoys reading, writing, and creativity!
