Product Description

One of the most appealing aspects of mirrorless cameras like those of the Fujifilm X series is the availability of a wide range of compatible interchangeable lenses, including non-Fuji lenses. The Adapter for Nikon Mount to Fujifilm X Mount Digital Cameras from Novoflex makes it possible to mount a Nikon lens to your Fujifilm X-Pro1, XE-1 and XM-1 Mirrorless Digital Cameras. This precision mechanical adapter does not transfer functions from the camera to the lens, such as automatic focus, however automatic exposure metering in aperture priority and stop-down metering is possible. The lens will focus to infinity using this adapter. The adapter features an integrated aperture control ring and can be used with lenses that do not come with manual aperture control ring.

Excellent product. Used with Nikkor AI and AIS prime lenses, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 100mm (Nikon series-e). All focus at hard stop infinity at full aperture on Sony A7 fitted with Fotodiox TOUGH E-Mount Signature Edition replacement mount. Nikon F-mount was introduced in 1959 and hasn’t changed except for Aperture Indexing AI in 1977 and later AI-S for manual lenses. Adapter works with pre-AI (non AI), AI and AIS lenses. Also works with AF lenses, with or without aperture ring, albeit in manual focus mode (adapter has blue ring for aperture control, non-clicked)
