Amazing for making reloading case lube

I can't find a single store around me that sells pure lanolin oil (i.e., not in a cream), so this is a huge help. I mix this 1:10 by weight with 99% isopropyl alcohol to make case lube for reloading (lanolin:iso). SOOOO much cheaper than buying aerosols AND it works better AND you're not inhaling all that extra nasty stuff!! Can't believe how much time and money I've wasted in the past. This is the way to go. Make sure to mix the solution before every session. Because the isopropyl is 99%, it dries extremely quick, leaving just a thin layer of lanolin behind. The photo above is a 100ml bottle, and I originally mixed 55g of solution in it. I've lubed over 100 cases so far with this bottle, and there's probably >40g left (and I was overlubing them, trying to get a feel for how much to use). So, I can probably get ~2000 cases out of this bottle, probably closer to 3000 now that I know to use less spray.

Pure lanolin

This is the real deal. I used this on my abdomen when I was pregnant. EVERY day I rubbed this on my abdomen, the entire 9 months. I never had any stretch marks. So, recently I got a perm for my thinning hair, and the hairdresser sprayed an oil based liquid on my freshly permed locks. It really made a difference in how it looked. She told me where to buy it. Instead I ordered this lanolin and made my own spray. No more dry , frizzy curls! Of course you need to warm the mixture a little under hot running water, or if you want to apply it with your hands heat the oil under the hot water faucet and then rub a tiny bit to your permed hair.

I initially bought this lanolin for dry hands.
I work outside and the cold weather tears my hands up , and so do hand cleaners that don't contain lanolin.
I have tried every hand lotion made and nothing worked very well.
I discovered Bag Balm with lanolin and it was like magic , but was quite greasy.
So I bought this to see whether it would work as well , without the petroleum jelly , and it did.
I use a pea size drop of this along with Bates Family Farm Coconut Mango Goat Milk Lotion and it works great and doesn't leave your hands all greasy.

I also wear wool clothes because wool is warmer than fleece and flannel , especially when wet.
Wool need special detergents that contain lanolin.
I use kukabura wool wash and add some of this lanolin to it , so my wool gets a little extra lanolin.
I use an 8 ounce glass jar , add the kukabura wool wash , a quarter size glob of lanolin and a little water.
I put the jar in the microwave for 30 seconds or so and the lanolin will dissolve into the soapy liquid.
Once dissolved you will have a cloudy liquid.
I fill my washer with water first and then add the lanolin enriched soap.
If you don't add the water before you add the soap , the lanolin will stick to the clothes that you dump it on , and the rest of the load of laundry will get none.
I also add lanolin to the laundry when I wash my bed sheets and cotton flannel shirts.
Lanolin has antibacterial properties that fight bacteria , which fights odors , and it leaves my sheets and flannel shirts really soft !!!
This product is exactly what I had hoped it would be and I will be buying more..

Never used pure liquid lanolin so wasn’t sure what to expect. I wanted it for very rough skin on my feet. I found that when I applied it, it was at first very oily, but after a short time this disappeared. I’m not sure whether that was because it absorbed quickly or just came off on my socks etc. I tried it on my hands but it didn’t seem to last past the first time I washed them, and didn’t really help prevent the eczema I have between my fingers.
