Drake is a famous wealthy talented artist like his father. However, he has made a rule to never paint a woman in his paintings because he thinks that will lead him to be obsessed with the woman like his father was with his mother. When she died, it was like the art died with her. Imagine his concern when he sees Rosalind & immediately, she is all he thinks of & wants to paint.
Rosalind grew up with a single mother. The family struggled financially for years until they were offered a reality series. Rosalind allowed the public & the producers to pressure her until her "on" personality was someone she didn't even recognize. It all came to a head when a crew member hid a camera in Rosalind's room & sold naked pictures of her. As we all know, once it's on the Internet, it stays on the Internet. Rosalind is trying to deal with this humiliation when she meets Drake & has to deal with there chemistry too.
Bella manages to lightly touch on a current topic & make you think while giving you a hot steamy HEA to read & enjoy. When does a public figures private life become public? Is the public's "need" to know greater than the celebrity's need to be "off" camera? How do we stop these cyber attacks & bullying when people feel they can be cruel & hateful in anonymity.?
Now That I’ve Found You is Ms. Andre’s latest release in this series, the first in the New York branch of the Sullivan family. This story is about the super-hot, Drake Sullivan, a world famous artist, and the beautiful Rosalind Bouchard, a reality show star.
Drake has a major show in a matter of weeks, but he is cannot paint! Looking out on his cliffs, he sees her. As he watches her, he realizes he HAS to paint her. Rosa’s life is in turmoil. Some degenerate secretly put a camera in her hotel room and filmed her getting dressed and bathing and has now sold the photos. She runs to the one place she remembers spending time with her father. The cliffs of Montauk, NY. Drake’s cliffs.
This is a beautifully written story of healing, and learning to trust again. I love the way Drake teaches Rosa to trust in people again by being that totally gorgeous man, both inside and out. And did I say HOT!?!? I love the way Ms. Andre developed the story of how Rosa feels about the photos and how she starts to realize that she is not at fault. I think my favorite part of the book is when Rosa tells Drake to use the….. Nope, no spoilers, let me just say that this scene is a major point in showing how Rosa has gained her strength back.
I was gifted with a copy of this marvelous book for my honest opinion. And in my honest opinion, you cannot go wrong in reading this book. Yes, you do need to One-Click it! I did
OK Bella, you gave just enough of a hint about Suzanne’s story coming out this fall, I cannot wait to read it as well. Kudos on another OUTSTANDING book!
She is a young woman, a TV reality star, sort of like Kim K. She was the victim of a photographer that planted cameras in her hotel bathroom and then sold the pictures to the media. She is horrified by what he did and the reaction of some people. She just needed to get away from everything when she ran to a place her father use to take her as a child.
These two meet and there is a lot of drama with each of them. The love story between the two is very intense and exciting to read. Oh boy, do we all want to meet our own Drake? Oh Yeah. He is one good hero. Lovely on the outside as well as the inside. His family is one to envy as well. These Sullivan's are really something. Great characters. I definitely recommend this book. It is sexy but it is so in line with the passion that these two are experiencing. Very entertaining read. Loved it.
I was not paid for this review. I am not an author nor do I know one. I am not kin to this writer. I am a reader and this is just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less.
