Even taking very high amounts, this bag lasted me a whole year of better health.
If you do a search for "All Nature Super OPC Plus" here in Amazon, you'll see a very comparable, well-reviewed capsuled product for a nice price, meaning 38 pennies per gram, which is still way cheaper per gram of OPCs than these snotty glitzy "drink mixes" (gawd, what a rip-off!).
Mix these powders together in the same proportion (2:1:1) by weight using a good scale in batches of a few ounces. Just put the measured powders in a jar and shake nice and easy for a couple minutes. Here's the beauty of doing it this way: you don't have to capsule this mixed powder. That's why crooks want to sell you "drink mix." This powder tastes just fine mixed into fruit juice or even just water. It reminds me of black tea: mildly bitter and astringent, with a tannin-like flavor ("OPCs" are in fact oligomeric, a.k.a. "condensed" flavone "tannins" / "tannins" is the old term that included them). These pure blended tannins don't dissolve well, though, so to make "drink mix" just mix them into a large quantity of highly soluble powder. Sugar will work. I use inulin (the polysaccharide equivalent of OPCs; dirt cheap). Inositol would also work. In other words, you can get creative with this part of the formula.
As for the shelf life issue A) don't let any of these companies screw you by selling you old stuff. They know better. You want ≤6 months old. If they do that and won't make it right, don't ever buy from them again and SPREAD THE WORD; B) put the powders in good airtight jars and keep them in the freezer. This will stretch the usual shelf life (two years) by several times. Shelf life?Read more ›

This stuff is supposedly good for us. I put small amounts in my smoothie every morning. Does not taste bitter.Published 16 days ago by My Recent Purchase
Much less expensive than buying pills. The taste is bad though, but for the price, I can take it.Published 16 months ago by Hebert Tejada Ito
