This is a fine bath toy for the price.

Pros:
No holes for water to get into.
The octopus is a firm but not hard plastic, so it doesn't hurt if the baby bumps into it or falls on it in the bath.
Fun and brightly colored; attractive to toddlers.

Cons:
It floats, but not upright. It tends to lean to one side.
The octopus only has 6 tentacles - not a huge deal, but it would be a more fun and accurate teaching toy if it had 8.
The 3 accessories are easy to lose.

This has potential, but so far my 15 month old grandson has not shown any interest in it. I've shown him ways to play with it as well as just having it in the tub or nearby, but he is so engrossed in his Nuby Splish Splash Stacking Cups that this hasn't been able to compete. Two small quibbles: 1.) I wish I could buy extra ring items, because somehow two of them are gone already, so now we're down to one. I have used small teething rings as a substitute. 2.) If it is an octopus, why does it only have six legs? It probably would have required it to be too large.

I'm going to continue to have this available, because it looks cute and seems like something a baby would like. Maybe I can hide the stacking cups now and then!

It is a cute toy my son enjoys chewing on but it's much smaller than you would think it is. The rings are maybe 1.5" in diameter. Small enough to fit entirely in a toddler's mouth and too much small to do any sort of ring toss with. In addition the octopus does not stay upright in any way. If it gets tipped sideways it turns upside down and that's it. Waste of money.

Excellent product. It makes may sons bath time so much more enjoyable. I like that it floats so you don't have to go digging in his tub for the rings after the bath is over.

Just as described! Thought it was a bit bigger but I'm still happy with the size!

Got this for my granddaughter and she loves it. She plays with it every time she takes a bath. She even talks to it.

These were my son's first bath toys around six months. He's 14 months now and still loves them. When it comes to bath toys, I never buy anything that can get mold buildup. I LOVE that the octopus and rings do not have an annoying little hole in them that would collect water. It's sealed all around making these forever bath toys for my son and his future siblings.

Cute and durable octopus but the little toys that are for tossing barely fit when intentionally putting them on. Not a fun or good toy but good for decoration for anyone that like the looks.

I'm not quite sure why this has such high ratings. It's definitely cute but the rings are small and the octopus is small. It is hard to actually toss the rings on the legs. The octopus retains water which is disappointing and doesn't float upright all the time. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and they rarely play with it.

I'd give this bath toy 5 stars, except that it only has 6 limbs/tentacles as opposed to 8!

This is a bit confusing for my toddler, who I am trying to teach that an Octopus is called an Octopus because it as 8 (Octo = 8) tentacles.

Otherwise, I appreciate that it does not appear to have any holes to allow for mold/bacteria accumulation, and my toddler very much enjoys playing with it nonetheless.
