CLOSER LOOK AT THE PRODUCT
The Nulaxy wireless transmitter is made out of plastic, so it's light weight. On the right side of the unit you'll find a 3.5mm insert and an TF card slot. Attached to the back is a plastic flex tub that allows you to bend and adjust the position of the unit in any direction. The end piece is the cigerrette lighter adapter that plugs into your cigerette lighter. Attached to the back of the cigerette lighter adapter you'll find a 5V/2.1A USB port.
On the front of the unit you have a 1.44inch back lit color display for navigating throughout the devices software interface. The channel plus and minus buttons allow you to set the the FM frequency of the device and the Next and previous buttons allow you to skip forward or go back to a previous track. When held down….the "next" button will also allow you to switch between your bluetooth connected source and the TF card slot source. The dial knob turns your volume up and down and functions as the pause button when pressed in.
SETTING UP AND CONNECTING
Setting up the Nulaxy Wireless Bluetooth transmitter with my cell phone was pretty simple. Simply plug it into your cigarette lighter port and you'll notice that the led light on the knob will flash. This indicates that the device is ready to be paired. On your portable device, navigate to your bluetooth settings, find the KM18 source in your list of devices and connect. That's it and it was that simple! The only other thing left to do is set the Nulaxy to a free open FM channel and then change your FM radio to that channel as well. After that you can play anything on your portable device and hear it through your car speaker system without wires! You can even take and make phone calls using your car speaker system as a speaker intercom.
So for those of you who drive older cars and even newer cars that don't come with those added bluetooth wireless media features. This product might come in very handy for you. Now before run off and add one of these to your amazon cart, let's talk about my overall experience. The good, the bad and the ugly.
MY EXPERIENCE
THE CONS
○ First off, one of the things annoying for me was the sound quality when transmitting to an FM frequency. Let me mention this as a disclaimer. Not everyone will experience this issue. It depends on the quality of your vehicle's stereo "grounding" and the intensity of FM interference in your area. However for me, I still get a little static in my audio when listening wirelessly via FM. There were a few occasions where switching the FM station to another frequency helped out, but it wasn’t 100%. At times, I could still hear a little static here and there.
Now the alternative around this would be to use the 3.5mm port. So if your car stereo has a 3.5mm auxiliary port, you can simply plug one end into the Nulaxy and the other end into your car stereo port. This would eliminate ALL FM interference.
○ My second gripe is there's no way to power off this thing unless you unplug it. When I turn off my car and get out, the unit will remain powered on if still plugged up. So every time I'm done using this, I have to unplug it and put it away. Then when I'm ready to use it again, I have to get it out and plug it back in. Not really a deal breaker but a little bit of a hassle. I feel like it would be more ideal if you could just simply power this thing off and on whenever needed. That way it can remain in the cigarette lighter port in an off or on status. That being said, there are more convenient and positive points on this product then there are gripes.
THE PRO'S
○ One of the things I think is REALLY useful is the Once paired, always paired Bluetooth connectivity. In other words, you pair this once and it will automatically pair for you in the future.
○ Also, believe it or not…but this thing has a caller ID feature. So if it's paired with your phone and you receive a phone call while listening to music, that phone number will pop up on the Nulaxy screen. Now that's pretty convenient!
○ Being able to take hands-free phone calls in the cabin of your vehicle is one of those Luxury conveniences offered as a feature in this unit. When a call comes in, simply press the center knob once to accept it or hold it down to reject it. There's also a tiny microphone on the front of the Nulaxy that allows you to speak to the person your talking to without having to hold your phone handset.
So all in all, what this device was designed to do, it does it very well. For those of you wanting wireless streaming capabilities and hands free phone calls in your vehicle, this is the device that will do it. I think it's worth money. That's why I bought two!

Great device that works well. My issue is shifting into first I knock into it resetting it to static and the super weird pairing voice. Tip: don't order this if you tend to watch scary countdown YouTube videos. Otherwise the first time you hear that voice you might spin around screaming "Who are you?! What do you want!" Anyway... I had moved it inside of my center colloid where I have an outlet where it worked great until I got a call and then I had to open my console to be heard by my caller which got annoying. So it's back in the way of my shifter. I bent it which helped but doesn't look nice. Still, that's not a flaw of the device. It's s great little transmitter and with the help of an app telling me the best station to use I really like it. Four stars!

The noise / interference no matter what station I use makes it unusable. It's either too low power or just low quality of a signal. Not sure which one, I'm not a scientist.

My 2007 Ford Escape does not have integrated Bluetooth, and I'm tired of using a wired headset. I purchased the Nulaxy because of the majority good reviews. It's only been one day but the unit is performing better than expected. Pairing was easy. I made a few calls and everyone said the audio from my end was fine. My Escape makes a lot of road noise and it did not interfere with phone calls. Music plays very well except at very high volume when the units seems to over modulate the bass. I highly recommend the Nulaxy unit.

I have tried a few of these cheaper bluetooth adapters and this is the best sounding one! It's much smaller than I thought from product pics.
My only negative about it, is that it does introduce intermittent static on my regular FM radio when powered on. Others I've tried did this as well. Enough to be annoying. I just yank it out. It would be great if it had a power switch instead.
Excellent value overall, build quality is solid. Performance is great. Very clear. Would buy again.

For an FM Transmitter it does it's job perfectly. Connects as soon as you step in the car. I love the wireless aspect. I was tired of the cords. I definitely recommend!

I like it, a tad smaller than i imagined, but works more than fine. The only complaint i have about this is not the device itself, but the box it came in. I tried to open the box, but the instructions weren't clear, so was difficult, left a picture on what i am talking about.

Works great in my daughters Subaru Outback. Car is an 2005 has CD disk changer but no Aux jack, cassette deck or bluetooth so she can attach her phone to listen to her music off google music. This plugs into her acc. plug inside her center console & allows her to use hands free for music & even calls by bluetooth through the radio. Works great through the radio. Better than a headphone jack radio transmitter. Also annouces through the radio speakers when it is paired. Pairing process worked very easily compared to my other newer cars integrated system. Only difficulty she had was when a friend accidently leaned over the arm rest on the console & pressed a variety of buttons that somehow set it to Spanish. Lol luckily she managed to figure it out and got it reset back to english.

Device does precisely what it says it should do and then some!
This bluetooth to digital FM radio signal adaptor works to deliver the best quality audio I have heard yet on my SUV stereo and is literally superior to the sound quality and ability to play louder, than I get playing an HDCD directly on the CD player that is part of the Lexus Stereo that came with my GX470 and is not the upgraded audio system or even a high end name brand system--yet the sound quality of the FM radio receiver when its receiving the digital radio signal from the Nulaxy (running on frequency 89.7 -just randomly chosen low frequency on FM dial with no stations on adjacent FM bands) into the factory installed AM/FM radio on my 2004 Lexus GX470. the sterep system performs better than I have ever heard it sound using either the FM radio to play local FM radio stations with good signals, or even an HDCD directly played on the stereo systems built in CD player!
This was the first digital signal receiver I have owned on a factory installed car radio where you can see the stations handle and even the song name on the digital receiver's LCD display so it is a decent radio system but its not a higher end or after market AM/FM car audio system so I was not expecting it to sound much better than the earphone jack to cassette adaptor that got lost or broken before I bought this adaptor. But BOY WAS I SURPRISED when I cranked the volume on the car radio dial it delivered such a clear signal without any audible distortion or noise in the lower bass, mid-range or even the upper frequencies of rock tunes I played from my Amazon Music or iTunes library!
I was totally surprised it sounded this good.... was expecting a slightly dirty/noisy signal similar to the sound using the headphone jack and the cassette adaptor I bought maybe 4 years ago after wanting to connect my 1st iPhone or iPod to the car radio. Of course cassette adaptors are one of the worst methods to transmit music from your phone to your radio but I did not think Bluetooth over FM signal would be anything great, though in theory it should have been bettter as there should only be noise added across the radio interface--but not in this setup!... It seems that bluetooth to FM is a very clean interface and its not any different than connection from my iPhone into newer car with native bluetooth entertainment system that is integrated with the iPhone for playing iTunes or telephone connections without need to use any adaptor.
FWIW- I set my iPhone volume towards the top of dial. I also set the Amazon Music app or the Tunes Appplication volume within the app to near the top as well. This was the signal that is gettting to the radio is already near the high end of volume and so any amplification to the volume that is needed is done with my radio's volume dial, keeps it simpler had I needed to adjust for better quality I could have lowered the volume on the iPhone and on iTunes or Amazon Music player btut it sounded perfect using just the higher settings in the phone and app. WHen I carnked the car radio volume-magic-it sounds like my BOSE speaker or other high end stereo receiver in my home stereo in quality...that never was case on this car stereo before--normally never crank the car audio as it buzzes or crackles on high volume bass or sounded tinnny on the treble or mid-range setting it up higher...now it just sounds like I have good car stereo aand a high end car stereo/radio! Thank you Nulaxy! I never knew I owned a good car stereo until I used your adaptor..taught me a lesson about griping about bluetooth or car stereo .... MY SUV came with an after market DVD player ofr movies for kids on long trips etc. and that system used an FM modulator to connect the DVD player's sound to the Lexus FM receiver-and it used low frequency on FM dial as well-but it never sounded particularly good to me, it was just acceptable as the sound for a DVD or CD...so again--this device is far superior in transmitting its FM signal to the 10 year old DVD system installed by the car dealer as an aftermarket DVD player.

Works really well. This is my second unit. The first one got completely worn out and fell out of the car and sat in the driveway through a rain storm but lived to tell the tale - it was just minorly glitchy after that. My only complaint about the newer model is that: 1) the volume doesn't stay on 30 (max) at all times and I have to turn it back up after every time it's turned off but it does stay on 25 or so. And 2) the unit is VERY tight in the cigarette lighter port. I have to wiggle it and pull pretty hard to get it out. I guess it's good that it has a good connection and won't fall out right away but it is seriously pretty difficult to yank out at first.
Other that that, I have a great connection on Blutooth, good sound, and it seems to do the job well.

ive had this for a week now and i can honestly say I LOVE IT. It plugs right into my car lighter thingy and connects to my phone with a voice that says "Waiting for connection......Connected!" The sound quality is amazing. I will highly recommend this product to EVERYBODY. Dont hesitate to buy it! Just do it! It was worth it! It is really simple to use and connect to my radio. Also , I love the fact that on the display it says my name.
