This campaign (though you can use the adventures on their own) really shows off The Strangeness (couldn't help myself as a KS backer...) of Numenera. You get great advice of how to use the adventures if things don't go the way you expect at the start. Also, you get lots of advice for how to adjust the difficulty level as well as references to the main rule book. I really feel like this is designed to help that new GM run things.
The art is full-color, and brilliant. Monte was obviously a fan of some of the old D&D modules, like Barrier Peaks, as we have full-color pictures to show the players. I loved that feature, glad to see it used again.
Several new ideas for artifacts and oddities. NPC's to encounter and new races/creatures. I know I'll have tremendous fun with this in the future.
Is it just me, or is the Baron wearing a wrestling championship belt?
