Though I go through phases, genmaicha is my favorite kind of tea. Sadly, every major grocery store near me that used to carry some brand of it stopped doing so. Numi is a good genmaicha for the price. It is not the best genmaicha I have ever had, but it's in the top three and I will likely buy more because the slightly 'better' genmaicha costs 2x more.

First impressions:
First, this is one of my favorite brands of tea. Always consistent in quality and a great variety of flavors to choose from. The title of this tea lives up to the name.

Flavor: As the name implies, the flavor is a medium bodied green tea with a roasted, nutty & earthy flavor green tea. The matcha is slightly over powered with the roasted dried grass color yet remains smooth tasting.

Smell: Earthy and hoppy with a hint of sweetness

I enjoy Numi brand teas because the quality of the tea, unbleached bags, organic and sustainable tea is important to me.
