I really like my boots.The tabs in back are big enough that my finger fits in so they can be used to help in putting them on.They are real leather so they can be spit shined just like in my 23 years of military practice.Theres just nothing like the pride of a great shined pear of fine leather shoes.For those of you that worry about animals being killed to provide the leather,rest easy,these animals were originally killed in order to feed you,their leather was harvested to avoid it's going to waste.

I have s similar style Nunn Bush shoe that I've had since 1978 and still wear. Yes 1978. They're still in great shape and still in style. Then again this style of shoe goes back to the 1800's. I often wear western style boots because I like the look but not the tall boot, so I ended up getting a pair of these chelsea shoes in black. I was so pleased with the fit and look I bought a second pair in brown. My only complaint is that the second (brown) pair fit a little tighter on the right foot. I knew that being leather they would break in, and eventually did. I just wonder if I'll get 40 years of wear out them them like the original pair.

I purchased a brown pair 12W. I loved them!! Perfect fit and super comfortable! So I went to purchase a black pair for work. I bought two of the black ones because the left foot was too big, but then the second pair both were too big so I ended up returning them and going with a different style. If you need a good stylish and comfy boot purchase these! I would recommend a size down though

The shoes are very nice looking. They were a little too large, probably because I normally wear an 11 medium and I ordered an 11 wide. I did this because I have a bunion on my right foot and it has sometimes bothered me by rubbing against shoes that I have had.
I went to a shoe store and asked their advice. They suggested we add an insole, which we did. This helped considerably. I have also been wearing socks that are a little thicker than I usually wear which helps.
The manager of the shoe store was very impressed with the quality of the shoes. He guessed that I had to have paid over $100 and I told him it was more like $59,
I am very satisfied with my purchase.

The boots arrived 1 month before I took a 1 month vacation to the Philippines. 28 hours in airports and planes and my feet felt great. On the way back to the US - 34 hours and my feet felt all the support it needed. Great support and great soles... so easy to put on with the pull tab in the back. Even after being on the road it looks great... actually I like it looking a bit scuffed. Enjoy yours.
