Been using GSE for a decade plus, and it never fails.
Talk about a miracle product! GSE is an all-natural antibiotic that works where many pills fail. It'll clean out your parasites (do some research, we're all full of them), one drop will brush your teeth cleaner than any toothpaste (it's now in many of them), it'll wash your dishes and counters and floors (a few drops in a quart of hot water is plenty), dilute and use as a nasal spray, use it to clean your ears (GSE must always be diluted, verrrry strong alone), and so on. For anything that needs to be disinfected, including wounds, here's your solution.
To me this is a first-aid kit in a bottle.
But the thing I use it for that is beyond genius is purifying water in the wilderness. I've used one drop per quart of water from many a mountain stream with bears etc upstream, where giardia is known to be, and after shaking hard and waiting a few seconds, I drink and move along, especially when I've no time to use the little filter I backpack with.
To date, after many many uses, not once has GSE failed.
I once hiked to a sweet waterfall on Kauai, and folks were drinking the cool, clear water. I used three drops of GSE in a gallon of it. A day later almost everyone had the runs; it was ugly. I felt great. They started borrowing my bottle.
Some organic companies are waking up and using this as a preservative.
One bottle of GSE will last you years. The strength per drop is phenomenal.
EVERY body needs a bottle of this when travelling in foreign lands.
Soon enough it will be "discovered" and be the next hip thing in all the glossy travel magazines. Beat the lemmings and try it now. You'll never look back.
For the money, it's one of the best products of any sort I've ever found in my life.
"NutriBiotic GSE Liquid Concentrate contains Citricidal, a natural quaternary compound synthesized from the seed and pulp of grapefruit"
It ALSO PICTURES a product that clearly says "FROM ORGANICALLY GROWN GRAPEFRUIT"
However, the product we received
1. CONTAINS NO CITRICIDAL
2. Does not say organic ANYWHERE on the bottle - front or back
3. Tastes different than the original formula
4. Is no longer effective as a supplement, immune booster, or cleanser
After some research I discovered that Nutribiotic has another product called Citricidal Liquid concentrate which comes in a 1 oz. bottle which costs nearly as much as the 4 oz bottle of GSE sold on amazon. Although I haven't tried this yet, perhaps this is the missing ingredient which WAS DEFINITELY in the original GSE formula, but has now been removed by Nutribiotic. However, Amazon's listing and product description remains the same and ACTUALLY SAYS THAT THEIR GSE STILL CONTAINS CITRICIDAL! This is false advertising, and hopefully customers will realize this before purchasing, unlike our family.
Nutrbiotic has replaced Citricidal brand GSE with that from another supplier in 2 & 4ounce bottles, starting about a year ago. The new GSE is less bitter, less yellow, and doesn't foam. Some think it's less effective.
This change is a de facto bait and switch from Nutribiotic, because traditionally the product in this shape of bottle has contained CITRICIDAL, yet they still call it The Original GSE on the new labels, but it's not. One must buy a 1 oz. round bottle, Maximum GSE, to get actual CITRICIDAL. Previously the 2 and 4 ounce bottles had it, but in a lower concentration. (See UPDATE below.)
As far as the safety of CITRICIDAL, or GSE in general, it seems safe, but I myself would not use it regularly--just for specific occurrences, mentioned earlier; as far as the new version of GSE--it would be interesting to have it tested for antibacterial and antimicrobial effectiveness compared to the product with CITRICIDAL.Read more ›
