Good quality potent Arjuna Extract, from a reputable and reliable source. One of the most important constituents, are the Arjunolic Acids. This has a good adequate percentage of them. Within 30-45minutes of taking one capsule, my blood pressure and resting heart rate lowered. It made my heart beat more efficiently. BP went down around 10-15points systolic and 8-10points Diastolic. I take these twice daily 30minutes before or after a meal. Within about 4 days and onward, I could feel like my heart was beating much more strongly. One week later, my resting heart rate came down from the typical low 90s before Arjuna, to 75-81bpm now with Arjuna extract. Now another great formula, that’s even better than this, but a bit pricey, is MPA Supps: “Cardiosolve”. It has a patented Arjuna extract called “Rejuna” by Verdure Sciences and also contains Pycnogenol(100mg) and Ubiquinol(200mg). It’s pretty amazing. For the money however, Arjuna Gold is effective and great. Thanks

I've been using this for about 3 months now, and really can't tell if it's helping in an way. I'll follow up after my next labs on if the claim to lower cholesterol was valid for me.

11/29/15 UPDATE: Cholesterol hasn't changed, but I think my blood pressure has gone down. As far as helping with heart function, the product claims to help with arrhythmias. I developed some strange arrhythmias, and they lasted for a few months. After taking arjuna, they definitely decreased, but haven't completely gone away. In honesty, I haven't been taking two a day, just one, and not everyday, so I will be more diligent in taking these and provided another update on the arrhthmias.

After researching supplements that help strengthen the heart, I came across arjuna. It is a centuries old herb used in India with great success. I bought this product for my husband who has cardiomyopathy and hoping this herb will prove itself.
I am very pleased with how Nutrigold is manufactured with the highest amount of arjunolic acid. I also purchased their C0Q-10 as well. Time will tell how well the product has helped when my husband goes in this August for an echocardiogram, I am confident there will be improvement.

Perhaps, arjuna is beneficial to heart and liver, but the only parameter I can measure is blood pressure. Am about half way through a 90-count bottle and the bp is unchanged at about 150/80. I had hoped to be free of Atacand usage by now, but no dice. Will continue with arjuna in the hope that the heart and liver, at least, are benefiting, but unless the blood pressure begins to drop with about 4 more weeks of usage, will probably not reorder this product.

i have tried a few other arjuna products & find ( so far ) nutrigold best for my needs.i have been taking arjuna for almost a year, one in morning & again evening. i am young but born with a minor heart problem. i study ballet & bike/hike etc when i over exert my heart i {sometimes} have angina pain & oxygen level drops a bit . all my life i have quite healthy low blood pressure; arjuna hasn't lowered mine , but it has helped angina pain about 50%, for me that has been a gentle gift. { i take other heart supplements but i do not take prescription medication for angina; i prefer not to if possible**}

Let me be clear here, and completely open for the sake of providing important information for those looking to this product:

I was a 9 year consistent steroid user with enlarged heart and reduced EF (43% confirmed by MUGA and echo late 2015). Without going into additional detail, I will tell you that after 60 days of using this product my EF went to 58% (confirmed by a cardiac MRI done 2/16/16). That is absolutely insane by any medical standard. There was absolutely nothing else that changed in my diet, lifestyle, or protocol. I cant speak for this product in any other regard than the fact that I have what I would suggest is medical proof it has worked for me. As private as this information is, I felt compelled to be honest so that those who are looking to this product for an increase in EF can see how its worked for me.
